If someone I love is going through a mental health crisis, the last thing I would ever do is call police. Not blaming the mom at all, but that’s where our country is at. Police treat people going through a mental health crisis like they’re criminals. Their training with mental health and deescalation is awful.

The problem is what really is evidence beyond a reasonable doubt? There’s been plenty of cases of folks on death row having their convictions overturned, and if someone is on death row you’d expect that the evidence against them is bulletproof.
As a parent to a 5 month old, playing while docked is kind of my only option while she naps lol. But any other time I prefer to play in handheld. Just better experience IMO.
There are some gentle methods, such as "pick up put down" and "the chair method". But I would also recommend sharing your schedule here so thst people can see if things need wiggling around - a schedule that isn't right for your baby can make sleep training harder. So, what is wake time, nap times, and bedtime?
Wake between 6-8am, and then a feeding every 3 hours and a subsequent nap, with nap times between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours. So around 3 naps a day. Bedtime at 7pm.
My wife and I have a decent nighttime routine. I change diaper and she feeds. I’ll try to stay awake while she feeds. We formula feed tho, so it’s not as much of a physical demand on my wife.
