Amadai

  1. I chose to be child free but I still scream at my dogs and I feel like an ass after.

  2. I did and enjoyed it as a stand alone punk fantasy crime thing that just happened to have a few characters with names I've heard somewhere but refuse to remember where.

  3. I also loved this show. One of my favorite authors is Jim Butcher of the Harry Dresden books. They made his books into a series and changed so much the fans were furious. Jim gave a speech where he said he thought of the show as an alternative dimension from his books. I thought it was gracious. It helped me appreciate something that the author created but isn't quite the same.

  4. Hey bud. It's okay to not want to be a doctor, or own a cat. It's okay to not like water or hiking. It's also okay to not want kids and not because of trauma. I just don't want the responsibility and honesty the heartbreak you go through with them. You can have kids despite the trauma you have gone through and not because you like Disneyland.

  5. I noticed in every picture she only has one arm!

  6. I went to see the movie The Skeleton Twins because we thought it was Rainn Wilson. Great movie anyway!

  7. It’s not too late, you know. And look around you, I see so many kids who come from families with little money but they make do and the kids are cared for.

  8. That would make him almost 70 when his child graduates. What a selfish thing to do. Would he even meet his grandchildren? Get to make memories with them?

  9. Which best of? I have the Peter Green best of. I had no idea he wrote the original Black Magic Woman!

  10. I had no idea there were two Fleetwood Mac best of's. It was before Nick's joined the band.

  11. In my state this is theft of services and it's a felony.

  12. The yellow guy from Sin City is who it reminded me of.

  13. Sometimes the biggest talkers are the fakest. Why would you have to talk about great your relationship is over and over unless you are trying to convince yourself.

  14. I love to bake and lose my mind if I don't have enough flour/salt/sugar/lemons. I learned young that it's so much easier being prepared.

  15. I love that you added lemons as a staple. I do as well!

  16. I make lemon cookies and I'm very serious about it! :) and delicious in water!

  17. I found frozen raspberries in the freezer and made lemon raspberry muffins. My favorite combination!

  18. That is exactly how my jerk got me to adopt him. He was just so cute!!

  19. Oof, I was going to ask if he had some sort of mental break, but it looks like this has happened to a bunch of the commenters on this thread. I have two examples that I know of IRL.

  20. My mother did that and I was the tween girl. I was a huge momma's girl and our relationship never recovered. She eventually replaced me with my little brother and turned all her attention to him.

  21. Upvoting because I have a chi but he's super friendly and delightful.

  22. If I look at it sideways all I can see are Mok's lips from Rock and Rule.

  23. I have never heard of this movie. How fun! Thank you.

  24. It's one of my guilty pleasures. It's not a good movie by any standard, but it's fun and the music is amazing.

  25. A couple months ago someone introduced me to a movie from the same time called Fire And Ice. It's super campy but was good.

  26. I got one about, “so and so is going out to sea, we should go” and in my ignorance I said they had the wrong number. When they kept replying saying how kind I was and asking my name, I got the point 🤣

  27. I like to ask them if they want to see my butthole and then I send them a picture of a cats furry anus.

  28. I will forever hate Jennifer Lopez for ruining The Cell. Could've been an amazing movie without her "acting" making it suck.

  29. I will admit I haven't seen it since it came out but I liked it. Maybe 20 years ago me was just derpy.

  30. Genuinely though, my old chi mix generated so much body heat that she really did help with my back pain, and it was like she knew it. She'd sleep in the bed with me and she'd normally snuggle up between my feet under the covers, but sometimes when I was feeling sore she'd move up to my abdomen or lower back - I'm sure it was a learned behaviour because I definitely moved her there a couple of times myself, but she picked it up and knew when I could use the snuggles with very little direction from me. I have a heat pack now, but it's just not the same.

  31. I lived in Portland for almost 20 years and this post was my fav thing to sit by. It had a bench under it.

  32. Documented proof does not mean first. Humans have walked throughout Africa for thousands of years. That's like saying the amazon river was never navigated before Francisco. Yes, he was the first documented explorer. Indigenous peoples likely had extensive knowledge of the river and used it for transportation and trade within their own territories.

  33. I get what you mean. Like the 'records' for climbing Mt Everest doesn't include shepas. As an old white woman I realize it is racism. Yes down voters! I am an old white woman in Idaho! Just because a white person discovered something doesn't mean they were the first.

  34. So gorgeous! I'm so in love!

  35. She is a part of the lead addled Boomers. Micropalstic Millennial is still in our future imo

  36. Once again Gen X gets ignored. Whatever.

  37. As long as it's said in the Oprah voice!
