  1. That is not true, they do not require a release of full medical records. You have to disclose your medical information but they do not have access to your medical records, that’s just not true. I do think you should continue to try and have it amended, continue talking to administration. If someone cannot help you, ask for their boss. An unwillingness to help you is not an excuse

  2. Everything I’ve read states that you need to disclose full medical records to get those jobs, but I sure prefer to believe you’re correct for the sake of my future.

  3. I've had to release parts of my medical records for jobs and internships, but it hasn't been anything like that. I've been requested to do in depth physicals, blood tests, urine tests, mental health tests, paperwork from therapists and psychiatrists I've seen, etc. But I've never been asked to have my entire medical history disclosed. The closest is a super in depth physicals I did that had questions along the line of "Is there anything in this patient's history that you think would prevent them for filling this role adequately?" or something like that.

  4. Has any of them been the aforementioned job fields? Thanks for the detailed reply.

  5. I would contact the patient affairs and/or ombudsman for the hospital network. You might check your records to see if you have drug test results, which would buttress your claim.

  6. In my area, it’s one large hospital/company that owns most the urgent care clinics, and this clinic was one of theirs. It was their company’s legal council officer or whatever that told me to file an amendment, and if it was denied, she had nothing for me but said “at least your side of the story will be on your record”.

  7. Police departments, fire departments, and military require release of full medical records. I’m sure it varies by department, but generally this is true.

  8. GP was a bit rough about it, but it's still good advice: Asking whether an a7iii is video-only is a pretty basic question. It is, of course, fine to ask basic questions, but if OP is needs to ask questions this basic, it's probably better for them to start from a default position of "don't buy", and try to find if there are any strong reasons to change their mind than it is to start from a default position of "buy" and then figure out if there are any dealbreakers.

  9. Or how about this, it it, and then have an amazing time figuring out all of the things this camera is capable of. Enjoy the learning process and know that after you have learned everything about this camera, you don’t have to sell the cheaper one you bought and upgrade to the camera you really wanted in the first place!

  10. I’ve been saving up for a nice camera for a while, I just don’t want to buy a cheapie and then want to upgrade in a few months. I always try to buy quality over quantity with things I want, but it sounds like a lot of you don’t want me to buy it haha

  11. Thanks, I read through it. Maybe I missed this, but how can I figure out which camera is better at photographing moving targets?
