we bought a land! it's very narrow and long (the widest part is about 12 meters). it's right next to a river and is surrounded by 2 canals. any ideas or advice for landscaping? the plan is to put a mobile house somewhere in the middle, but no idea what to do with the rest of it :)

It actually 'snowed' in Henderson this morning. It was fat, wet flakes, slushy and didn't last on the ground but it was definitely snowing.

Well, having a sense of humor and not taking yourself or the world so seriously all the time as a criteria, not reacting in anger to everything and everyone I would say 'The Ripple System'. From the story telling point of a 'different perspective' I would say 'Spells, Swords, & Stealth'.
I see a book called Dicken Around that's same universe just different perspective. Is it good too?
Uh, I haven't read that far yet into the series, but 'The Dickening' is a thing and I laughed out loud when it was introduced in book 1.

If I were you I’d try some of his other books, I found the the mistborn trilogy was one of the worse things he’s done. The storm light archive is written much better so I’d give that a try before you write Sanderson off.
