SNES - DK Country 3 was ahead of its time
Love my 35RC. Rangefinder patch is so dim, but I taped some film onto the front to increase contrast so it's not an issue anymore. Shutter priority is the devil though, I'll never enjoy it. If it had aperture priority it would be the perfect camera for me.
Could you explain how thst works? The film bit?
I just stuck a square of developed blank colour film over the rangefinder window on the front. Obviously leaves an orange cast but you can actually use the rangefinder in poor lighting then.

It's the best. But it gives you such false confidence in your compositions because it always looks far more magical than the result!
I have a 35RC and I quite enjoy it for what it is - a tiny, fully mechanical rangefinder. It only has shutter priority which I hate with a passion, but you can just use manual mode. The rangefinder patch is very dim, so you'll need to do one of the many contrast-improving 'hacks' to address that. They're regularly found on eBay for around €100.
What's your current scanning setup? I really hate scanning and would go for a Plustek if I was only doing 35mm.

My most used lens by far is the 28mm f2.8, i love it and it's cheap. I also have a 50 f1.4 and f1.8 and recently got rid of my 135 because it's a stupid focla length for casual shooting. 28-50-85 would be my dream!
It depends. Usually 2 - either 1 digital and 1 film if I'm intending to shoot wildlife or if it's supposed to be wet, or 1 SLR and 1 compact rangefinder if I'm just doing like scenic stuff!
Tip - Rollei IR400 has a clear base, so perfect for reversal. I haven't personally reversal processed it though.

Never fails to amaze me how much better a wet print turns out. I hit a real slump with my film photography until I started printing regularly and seeing the improvement over scans!
For the sake of 1 roll of colour it's not worth it at all. Colour chems don't have a long life and you'll also need all the rest of the equipment. Would recommend starting with B&W!
I always find it funny when you face a freestyler in ranked 1s. It's just so easy to defend against them.

Is there a less painful way to scan 6x7 well? If I do have to stitch that's alright, but if I could get an extension tube or different lens that'd be nice
Honestly I'm fine with just a single shot. I darkroom print if I'm printing and there's not need to have huuuuge digital files in my opinion.

I was asking because it should have been 2:3 if it was indeed 6x9! But as another person said, the best solution is to do 3 or 4 shots vertically and stitch.
