i think the complicit parties moved shares from street to book, then back to street the following quarter to give the illusion of retailtards faltering/selling, & then hit ‘em with a big shill wave at the same time

Well… isn’t that how the entire global financial system works? What you described is literally why the Federal Reserve was created and enables the concepts of credit and debit. Banks don’t have anywhere near the cash on hand that their customers have actually deposited because they’re using that money to invest and generate profits, and 90% of people wouldn’t be able to afford cars, much less homes, if IOU systems didn’t exist.

Drs is direct registering your shares. It takes them out of the NYSE and locks them in the transfer agent, in your name. You can send your shares from your broker to the transfer agent, computershare
technically it takes it away from the DTC (if you look at the DRS confirmation letters on SS you'll see it titled 'DTC withdrawal')

I’d just want forced buy ins. You naked sold a share? Either deliver or forcefully go into open market and buy it. With trade reversals there’s no squeeze. I know this sub worships Dr. T but she is very obviously against MOASS.
Dr T is obviously looking to ensure the markets are free and fair going forward, most people's view do not revolve around the squeeze (i.e. please acknowledge your bias)
I think the moment trade reversals are on the table they will be abused. It already happened with LME not too long ago when big banks got short squeezed. A short squeeze is how a fair and free market operates when people start shorting and naked shorting and the stock gains value. The only way to fix it is mandatory buy ins. We don’t need trade reversals if we get same day settlement and removal of FTD’s completely.
