  1. This is very interesting. How did you happen to notice the hole and the object if you didn’t hear it hit? I guess you were having water damage?

  2. Under heavy load that could go flying if some failed and the load busted the line or something. This is used in rigging and hoisting so that’s my bet is it came flying from a mile or two away. That’s insane.

  3. I wish there was. There should be, but there isn’t a way to do it at the moment. You have to keep the app open and running for it to progress

  4. That stinks. Guess i have to adjust my tablets sleep timer.

  5. Most forms that ask this are doing so for the purpose of data collection and no benefits are contingent upon your answers. I'm curious what these post-college forms you're filling out in your adult life are that would make any difference?

  6. At my employer race amd sexual orientation are one of the first things looked at. Ive been questioned about hiring people to the point where i gave up because the candidate was the wrong race per the Equity movement. This stuff absolutely matters. The bigger the company it seems the more it matters.

  7. If hiring non-white employees is this important to a company, I have a hard time believing most white people could successfully pull off this deception. I mean, they're going to have to show up to a face-to-face interview at some point, and if diversity is this important then they'll also have to lie their way through some questions about it and then keep up the ruse for the duration of their employment. Seems far fetched.

  8. They dont do it ALL the time. They look at each group, division, department, etc. Whatever is out of balance they apply pressure to even out the numbers. One that was laughable though was a hiring campaign we did where we were celebrating the fact 92 percent of our hires were female. This was sold as good diversity in hiring.

  9. Like a warm summer breeze in a quiet peaceful meadow.

  10. I find it interesting that you think he's a republican on a sub full of liberals.

  11. And the users handle is thebluefairie. Not likely someone that bleeds red.

  12. I did this when i was maybe 7 or 8. My dad about killed me. How stupid i was.

  13. Because the number is based on "completed death certificates," I think the lag can be nearly up to a week from date of death to it showing on the dashboard.

  14. It seema reasonable to take a week with all that process, but theres already 4 deaths for week starting Nov 14th with a data refresh date posted as Nov 16th so that seems to indicate these are deaths from Nov 14th or 15th and recporded withing 24 to 48 hours. Seems sketch to me but could also be the way they are labeling their data and dates.

  15. Your examples of government helping people with social services is not the same as mandating people cant leave their homes or be locked in. Theres a huge difference. Were on the brink because our leaders and the healthcare industry have botched a response and contine to have no strategy that doesnt result in massive poverty across the globe. It is sad but some people may not make it so the world can continue and millions arent lost to other factors. We feel differently so lets chaulk that up to different values and beliefs. Have a great day and take care.

  16. You mean dont be an authoritarian and panic? Still holds true and will hold true regardless of case count. Id rather lose family members and friends than give control of my life to the government and doctors who only care about the immediate lives at risk and not the damage their policies cause in the future. Looking at current case counts is not seeing the larger picture, but in a society we are trending towards were daddy government has to protect us, im not surprised. We disagree and thats ok, but Im living life (while taking precautions and measuring my familys personal risk) . If others want to lock themselves down, go for it and exercise your liberty.

  17. That looks identical to my piece which I love. Great pic.

  18. He got chased after he shot the first person in the head and the crowd told others he did it. That person forst shot was chasing him with some variant of what appears to be a molotov cocktail. Stupidity is why they chased, but my curiosity is why the first guy was chasing the guy with the gun with the apparent cocktail. That seemed odd and i havent seen why yet.

  19. I'm confused. Do the blue states not vote for federal level programs while red states vote against them? Why are we throwing shade to people that aren't voting for benefits they are getting? Shouldn't we be seeing them as altruistic? I mean, honestly, is it their fault blue staters are for a one size fits all system in which barriers to receive benefits are set at 'X' and red staters happen to qualify for them because their standards of living are so much lower? It is ironic that the same folks saying we need overarching federal style programs are then upset when the people opposed to the programs in the first place end up qualifying. It's almost as if the red staters wanted states to make their own decisions because their circumstances are different. Another great example of this is minimum wage. Guess which states want a high federal minimum wage that would all but destroy jobs in the other states. The amount of money needed to live and thereby the threshold for programs, should be different between New York City and rural (pick your red state here). Blue states wanted federal style programs, and they got them. Point the blame where it belongs.

  20. The best part is watching the cylinder cycle while the pistol is flipping. So satisfying...

  21. I love this game but got stares from people on my flight last week while playing it....

  22. Better not be trending since i took the photo ;)

  23. Until the store opens and the asshole customers mess it all up.

  24. Actually this was at about 10am local and the store is open 24 hours. Made it even more satisfying.

  25. 100 percent agree. This is annoying and serves no purpose.

  26. Why are I'm I hearing this from TMZ? The CBS, ABC, & FOX affiliates here are still sticking to their regular programming & commercials.

  27. I thought the same thing and dismissed it originally.

  28. Root beer will cover almost anything. Mix with vanilla vodka for a nice root beer float!

  29. I see this with alcohol at my grocery store. Cognac is always behind the counter, scotch never is unless its 200 plus.

  30. I thought this was Omaha, Nebraska. Same damn issue so they wanted to remove the rock while Im sitting here thinking just keep your damn car on the pavement
