My understanding of the most convincing theory is:
It doesn't have to be that complicated, and I don't know why my info is being down-voted, because the steps were clearly laid out a few months ago and even sticked to the top of this very sub, and everyone agreed that it was the way, because if you DON'T follow it this way, then your fractionals will be sold, and a paper check mailed to you, and the selling fee is much more than the valus of your fractional, I think it is $25 or $35, for a $10 check. :/

I disagree, you don't have info saying that the data IS from GameStop, that is speculation. The SEC plays by different rules than everyone else, without laws to restrict that. They can make anyone, anything in their domain (securities) do what they (SEC) want. We've seen that time and again, and esp now with crypto. So your post doesn't mean much to me. I believe the SEC forced GameStop to change their DRS statement to not spook markets, esp internationally.

What is the basis for your conclusion that Cede & Co is the source of the number in 10-K? I've read and re-read the 10-k and interpret it as Gamestop stating that, not Cede & Co. If Cede & Co said it, Gamestop should/would have said "According to Cede & Co..." or "Cede and Co. reports that..."
If it was 75.45M they could use approximately to get to 76.0. Past fillings use ##.# format. It could just be that.

If they issue a fungible token, let's call it GMECOIN, and that coin is redeemable for an NFT that is sold for $1M each on the GameStop marketplace, then the dividend would be for GMECOIN, not for the NFT. Thus, short sellers would have no duty to purchase the NFT. They'd instead be on the hook for 1 GMECOIN per share shorted. Based on the fact that only 1 GMECOIN would be created for each share, their ability to buy the GMECOIN would be no greater than their ability to buy an NFT if 1 NFT was to be issued as a dividend per share. So I'm either missing the point, or this is just adding an extra step rather than simply issuing an NFT dividend. It could also have some dire tax consequences for shareholders once the coin is redeemed for a million dollar NFT.

Every single director on the board had their RSA’s canceled in exchange for cash on 1/24/23. If you don’t know, restricted stock awards are cancelled or settled prior to a acquisition. Furthermore, those RSA’s had a vest date of Jan 2023 OR at the 2023 annual shareholders meeting. Neither of which have happened. So it seems like acquisition is big time in the cards.

Unfortunately, the positive free cash flow is mainly from an unusually high amount of accounts receivable for Q3 2022. They need to bring down other costs to keep it for this quarter; otherwise, it's going to be FCF negative once again. But they're obviously going in the right direction to get this done, so it's not even a negative so much as an obstacle that can be overcome with the leadership in place.
Is there a post about the source of the positive FCF? If not, do you know what kinds of receivables were collected or why there was an unusually high amount?
