Serious question. How can there be a MOASS If no one gets margin called or liquidated? One of the early concepts of a MOASS was that at some point SHFs and banks will go under and get liquidated on the open market where the computer automatically closes out their positions. And since the computer doesn't care about high prices, the price will go up to uranus. This was the original theory. but how can this happen when there are basically no margin calls and every failing player gets bailed out by the fed or some other shitty institution? No fud intended, just curious what we think about this now?
