Laugh like a supervillain

  1. As expected, Fieldy wasn't there. There was a really happy dude standing in for him. It was a short concert, but very good.

  2. He is not back yet but he will sooner or later if he gets sober, but the guy that is replacing him plays and looks exactly like him anyways.

  3. Danish is hard asf, i wouldn’t bother unless i’d choose to live here. I have known people who have been living here for 20 odd years only getting by on English (which i personally find rude and lazy) But is totally doable.

  4. Nonsense, it's a pretty easy language. Those living here for years without speaking the language are just lazy or don't care.

  5. I say this because most of my friends are international, don't really speak Danish and they all have this thing in common that they avoid speaking Danish like the plague. And that's assuming they even went to language school to start with. I went to school and made an effort so I speak Danish fluently and never found it to be a big deal 🤷‍♂️

  6. get a wooden one. you will ruin a propper katana if you expose it to heat for too long. it will undo their hardening

  7. Yeah, but wouldn't a wooden one just burn to ashes?

  8. Also that vitamin D3 is superior to D2 and that it should be taken individually in a capsule with oil (it is oil soluble).

  9. I'll try to make it! How do we recognize you?

  10. Tusind tak for dit svar. Det giver mening. Jeg prøver alligevel at ringe til dem for at høre, om jeg nu har gjort det forkert eller om man bare kan vælge mellem 66 og 454. Mange tak for hjælpen!

  11. Is it though? I always felt criticizing religions like Scientology or Jehova's Witnesses was way more socially acceptable than criticizing other religions, even though at the end of the day they're all pretty much equally bonkers.

  12. I've heard tough guys in the Amazon drink shots of snake venom.

  13. Og husk at vi også fik bedre musik dengang!

  14. Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads.

  15. I've had pain for many hours due to blue balls but I guess that doesn't count.

  16. NTA, obviously. C'mon, you know you NTA.

  17. More like it appeared in a lot of cultures in an independent way.

  18. Haha yeah, it's actually the least hard. If I let it, my hair dreads itself and I'm "white."

  19. If you want to gain muscle, I would recommend weight lifting. And in terms of diet, I would try to aim for at least 1.3-1.7 g protein per kg bodyweight. How much protein are you getting daily now? If it's below that, then you may benefit from adding some protein powder to your diet. But you could also benefit from increasing your protein intake from whole foods as well, there is nothing special about protein powder. And you definitely don't need vegan whey specifically, any vegan protein powder should be fine.

  20. I'm not sure how to count how much protein I'm taking in (see my answer to the guy above).

  21. If you're getting 0.8-1g of protein per kg of lean body mass, you're intake will be more than adequate. There's a lot of bioscience about getting "enough" protein to build mass. The reality is, you only need like 0.6-0.8g per kg of lean mass to maintain all the tissues and protein mass in your body.

  22. I see. I have no idea how to find out how much protein I'm getting. Should I count every day or only the days I train? And how do I count it? It seems silly to count how many chickpeas are on my plate everytime I sit down to eat.

  23. Back then as well. Dali certainly craved the spotlight and this is a prime example of bullshit stunts he'd pull to get it. I think today and then most people would find it distasteful but sort of predictable for fame-starved celebrities.

  24. I don't know anything about his personality, so you might be right. However I wouldn't immediately jump to the conclusion that he's "fame-starved." I actually think it's pretty funny. Maybe that was his point, and besides, there's nothing wrong with being eccentric.

  25. Hiroo Onoda was a Japanese soldier stationed in the Phillipines. He didn't know when the war ended so he stayed there for thirty years, thinking he was doing his duty for Japan.

  26. Seems pretty censored in the west too. All I read is "Ukrainians killed x Russians," "x number of Russian helicopters shot down," "Russian navy turns back," etc. You would think the Russians haven't shot a single Ukrainian soldier.

  27. I know you're trying to be edgy, but anyway... you won't be arrested 'in the west' if you publish how many Russia has killed, so you're using 'censored' wrongly.

  28. Fair enough, just an observation from an "edgy" guy.

  29. NTA. They were your eggs, I don't see how this is an issue.
