  1. This is laughable because part of the reason Hurts is winning is because he sucked last year. That gave them a high enough draft pick to trade for AJ Brown

  2. If Hurts sucked but made the playoffs I’d hate to see what you’d call Herbert.

  3. Ah yes, we all know that a teams success hinges solely on their QB’s play and nothing else.

  4. Kel is a deadbeat who abandoned his wife and kids

  5. I’m so tired. Jury trials are fucking bullshit. These last couple of months have shown us that. And the world fucking HATES women.

  6. You think it's a perfect system? Jury trials might be better than many alternatives that have been tried, but let's not pretend it is without serious drawbacks for minorities.

  7. No system is perfect but it is by far the best option. What, you want some judge to just decide guilt or innocence by themselves? No thanks.

  8. SBF should take responsibility for his actions! They need to take some legal steps, because he’s just chilling in public it seems.

  9. But did he mail him back the $100 bill with a note saying to give it to him when he wins them a superbowl?

  10. you didn’t listen to car seat headrest for almost a week “straight,” gay-ass

  11. I did, but can you tell me what JK Rowling said that was so evil? Without calling her names or labeling her -- what was it she actually said that was so awful?

  12. The JK Rowling stuff is a good microcosm of why so many people are upset about all of this cancel culture stuff that's been going on for a few years now. For years Rowling was a hero to many people on the left. She was a major supporter of Labour. She's supported refugees coming to Europe. She has been an outspoken advocate for abortion rights for years. She literally compared Donald Trump to Voldemort. She went from being a billionaire to being a millionaire because she gave so much money to charity over the years. Her Lumos charity has pledge hundreds of millions of dollars to helping disabled and underprivileged people.

  13. I am too bothered by this, but also find the KK angle interesting too.

  14. I honestly think the KK stuff is why this case was so complex and drawn out and why things seemed to change so much. KK was communicating with Libby the day she was killed. If you're an investigator and uncover that fact, KK immediately becomes the prime suspect. It'd pretty much be an open and shut case. KK lived less than 50 miles from where the murders took place. His house was raided mere days after the murders. He was looking up info about the murders. He deleted a bunch of apps and tried to destroy his phone. I mean come on. That's him. That's the guy. Of course it is. Why even bother looking into anyone else?

  15. The entire episode is just the skit, they talk about the movie for less than 5 seconds.

  16. I like that every few years they just say fuck it and do a long plot dump and then forget about the plot again for another few years.

  17. I'm honestly shocked they still bother. The whole point of the plot of Half in the Bag was to make fun of those guys like Nostalgia Critic who had ongoing storylines and characters in their "reviews" back in like 2010, but that style has been out of fashion for years now. But then again I guess that's why it's still so funny that they're doing it. I mean when was the last plot dump like this? Last I remember was when the reviewed one of the Maze Runner movies and concluded the Jay and Plinkett Gay Wedding storyline.

  18. I never thought it would happen. This poor, poor little boy has gone too long without a name.

  19. Stuff like this really makes me appreciate law enforcement more. This child was found 65 years ago. His murderer is likely dead, and probably has been for years. But they never gave up. This boy deserved to have his name back, and they never stopped working on this case after all of these years.

  20. Impossible. In the movie the Browns had a good draft in 2014.

  21. That is what I keep coming back to. I grew up in a small town, so I can see local LE missing major info, but I expect more from the FBI.

  22. I would not at all be shocked if it turned out that early on in the investigation they found out about that pedophile messaging the girls and just assumed he was the murderer. Then they got tunnel vision and once they ruled out Allen as a pedophile suspect they never even thought to look at him again until recently. It never occurred to either local law enforcement OR the FBI that the murderer and the pedophile might be different people.

  23. if Andy saw the same lightyear movie as we do, he would ve bought Sox's toy instead of buzz

  24. Any kids film from 1995 with even a hint of a gay relationship would have resulted in the studio being forced to shut down lmao

  25. Mahomes and Tua have never won NFC Player of the Week. This shouldn’t even be a competition.

  26. Yeah, his mind has really slowed down. This year he's always so controlled both when he runs and passes. Knows exactly when to put on the burners, when to take a knee/run out of bounds, and when to throw it away.

  27. Honestly these most recent developments make me feel potentially a little bit insane.

  28. I would not at all be shocked if it turned out that early on in the investigation they found out about that pedophile messaging the girls and just assumed he was the murderer. Then they got tunnel vision and once they ruled out Allen as a pedophile suspect they never even thought to look at him again until recently. It never occurred to them that the murderer and the pedophile might be different people.

  29. I’m not sure I could possibly be convinced that the police weren’t inept here.

  31. He didn't know he lost the unspent bullet. He had no idea they had that evidence.

  32. This is why they've been so tight-lipped about the crime scene. If they said "We found a bullet next to the bodies" that gun would have been tossed years ago.

  33. I've never seen someone with such patently OK passing stats win MVP, but I wouldn't be shocked.

  34. Come on now. He's better than okay. 10th in completion percentage, 3rd in passer rating, and 3rd in TD-Int ratio.

  35. He doesn't. His burns are too severe for him to be able to eat normally. His receives nourishment through feeding tubes.

  36. That movie is so much funnier in hindsight considering how the Browns really used their 2014 draft picks. Not exactly the triumphant ending they were hoping for.

  37. Imagine if you were completely innocent but there was like one thing connecting you to a crime. Next thing you know you're getting charged and have to come up with a defense. "Where were you on this night over 50 years ago?" Any witnesses are probably dead, let alone unlikely to remember. You almost certainly don't even remember.

  38. the difficult, unfair (tua didn’t choose to die), but simple correct answer

  39. Same thing happened with Wentz in 2017. He was the better QB than Brady that year, but he missed the last few games so Brady won MVP.

  40. Yeah this generally shocked everyone. Although I think I remember one user actually did project it correctly, or at least very close! There were other bombs like JL or TSS etc etc but that was more popcorn eating crazy than true shock.

  41. I still don't understand why people were shocked. Anyone who actually paid attention to The Last Jedi knew Solo was going to be a massive failure.

  42. Eh? People didn't know how much the brand had been damaged, and there was every possibility a return to a faithful character would do the trick or the faithful'd show up spread word of mouth and giving it legs. We really hadn't seen this play out in theaters this way.
