I have no doubt that the overall business is in good shape, but if the web3 gaming is going to be a big money maker for them, I’d imagine they need a web3 team.
You’re not understanding what was just said. Those main guys are developers. The back end blockchain tech is done. They’re not gonna stick around for a “maintenance job”. The cool thing about blockchain and smart contracts is the tech is run autonomously. The marketplace will run itself while GameStop creates its own collections and games and other web 3 builders uses the GameStop marketplace infrastructure. When you hire someone to build you a website you don’t continue to pay them for years on end to “maintain the website”.

I think destroying the current system is exactly the plan.
Granted my wording wasn’t perfect but what I was inferring is that it’s impossible for them to buy back all the shares without destroying the system. So it’s best for everyone if GameStop doesn’t do the “finishing move” until the blockchain tokenized securities market is ready so that the new system is ready to go when the old system burns down.

You’d think with the positive EPS and great earnings report we should see some increase institutional ownership. Of course I prefer DRS of all shares. However, we should soon see an increased amount of institutional ownership that closes this gap even more.
Kenny knows the DRS number just by being in cahoots with the DTCC. The DTCC knows how many shares are on their ledger and can infer what's in CS with that. The only one left in the dark would be household investors.
Agreed. The one category of share ownership with no reporting is shares held by brokers. DRS gives us the ability to know how many shares retail owns only because GameStop has been reporting this number to us. This should not change.

I've been an Amazon seller for 9 years. About 6-7 million sold on platform. These days, sales are dry AF! Literally dead. I have thousands of items at Amazon right now being sold via Prime and I swear I'm seeing like $200-$300 in sales per day and like 10-15 items. People are not shopping on Amazon like they use to.

I’d love for them to push GME back under 6 billion market cap so everyone can see how a profitable Web3 tech company with no debt is trading for less than their annual revenue 😂 no other stock in the world comes close to bogus like that meanwhile almost 1/3 of the company has been direct registered by retail.
