  1. In December...some stressors came up in my life and 75 mg. did not seem to be working. I always wondered why people went from 25-50-75-100 in a matter of weeks. Unlike me. I think it helped them stabilize faster on the dosage that worked best for them.

  2. I just went through this exact same experience! I was increased from 50mg to 75mg. I was on 25mg for 7 days (no effects whatsoever), then I went up to 50mg for about 3 weeks (once again, not noticing much effect). Then I had a follow up with my MD and she prescribed 75mg to me, told me to take that for 2 weeks then increase to 100mg if I still don't notice any effect. Well, about 1 or 2 days after increasing to 75, I woke up soaked in sweat and with an extreme panic feeling. This lasted about 5 or 6 days for me. It was so bad I couldn't even go to work, much less leave the house. It's been almost 2 weeks since this now and the panic and extreme anxiety definitely tapered off. I'm still feeling somewhat anxious but I'm able to get to work and do work without feeling uneasy and anxious. I think this is a common issue. I didn't stop taking the 75mg as I had read so many other experiences like this. I'm glad I stuck with it. I hope your symptoms improve! 🙂

  3. Exact same!! I’ll also do good for a few hours… then crash into pre-Zoloft depression. About 2 weeks on 75 from 50.

  4. Ugh you’re the best, I’m so glad I’m not alone 😂 I work with my pharmacist and I was mentioning it to her, how frustrated I was with my doctor and 10 minutes later she comes to me with a case study on this side effect and said it happens but only to like 2% of people 😂 so of course I have health anxiety and I’m apart of the 2%

  5. I’ve seen it abit like on other forums. Freaked me out but yeh went back to normal. Drs don’t know shit I swear. Like my dr with effexor withdrawals has no idea.

  6. Go see a psychiatrist and work out a plan. You may have to switch as scary as that might be :(

  7. I think if you feel good enjoy it. Put a alarm on to remind yourself to take meds. You have put in the work to get to a good spot and your lucky it’s working.

  8. 😖😖😖😖😖 🛑✋🙈🛑✋ slow down!! Way to fast you’ll just freak your brain and nervous system out and be a mess. Do it ever so slowly. Try to stop and stabilise now for a couple of months and then do 10% cuts a month or even 6mg lower is better then 50mg. Slow taper. Let your mind and body adjust.

  9. Have you had covid? Sone things Ange. Long covid issues to. Anxiety can cause a lot of symptoms also :(

  10. Chest bad I friggen hate. Worst feeling in the world. Ask the Dr if it’s costocardristis first. Hopefully it goes soon. I don’t want that feeling back though so it does scare the crap out of me and anxiety.

  11. I dunno if it helps look past the weight gain. It’s annoying but if it keeps your happy and stable weights not a huge issues. I come off effexor and lost all the weight from stress. So yes I’m skinny now but I’d prefer to go back to being overweight and happy. Then the mess I am

  12. I wonder if it’s hormones that has effected it for you. Have you spoke to you Dr about if you should increase or change?

  13. PS I would like to mention that Celexa is working fine for me (no side effects) but recently, my depression and anxiety has gotten pretty bad :(

  14. Well it must not be working fine for you now :( definitely find a good psychiatrist to help you. Are you able to manage ok?

  15. You think they would give you Ativan or something to help calm you. Like your going though a lot and stress wouldn’t be helping so give you a break for abit to chill.

  16. That came up through all this, how prednisone can cause terrible reactions in people. It was originally thought to be the cause of his symptoms.

  17. Yeh I full has a nervous break down but I was four months off antidepressants so that probably didn’t help. But brain fog was massive, I was in my own world of fear basically. Couldn’t watch tv, could hardly communicate. It’s been friggen so hard getting out of that hell.

  18. Yeah, you are right. You must read the prescription if you want to take anything after all.

  19. How come I was told it was safe and it doesn’t stop you producing your own? I was told this but doctors and naturopaths
