Honestly if it was that simple, to just put out a bear trap and squeeze the shorts for all they're worth, they would have done it by now. Same as Jimmy, been two years and we are still waiting on a squeeze for that one too. And both had ample opportunitys to do so. That they didn't shows me that it is a) not possible or b) they don't want to. Both not good if you are in for the squeeze like most of us are.

Atomic habits is a pretty easy read. Bullet points and graphs. I breezed through it. It’s worth it. My SO did the audio version but I think this one is better as a written version. Just stop by a book store and browse though it for the high points.
That is really really interesting and I’m glad it helped you! I’m moving towards the west coast next week, but with my husbands job we might move more south and I’ll definitely try to remember that. I really don’t want surgery soon and want to try other methods first. I’ve done PT, muscle relaxers, NSAIDS, more intense pain medicine (but not narcotics), injections, tens units, back bracing, etc.
You’ve been on exactly the same meds as me plus prednisone and steroid injections. It’s just crazy. Through prolotherapy and PT I’ve been able to get off everything within the last week.

Omg what an absolute nightmare of a scenario, I’m sure it was PTSD worthy and many with EDS have medical PTSD from our extreme adverse effects. I’m terrified of ever needing a colonoscopy because I’ve heard of horror stories of perforated bowels in EDS. We have such an incredibly challenging path to traverse. EDS folks needs to lean on each other for support but we’re a hidden group in society, an invisible illness of sorts.
Imagine "diamond handing" towel (and sticky floor) now. I got out of towel in the mid $20s, was thinking about getting back in a couple of months ago, then I realized they were really going the BCG route. RC got out since towel was too corrupted already, at least that was my DD, and the forums may have been full of towel shills getting the stock muggles to buy more. Towel as a store sucks, they did most everything wrong the last 2 years, as did Apollo Aron and popcorn, who was way less opaque than towel. The foxes are running the hen house, except for GME (and maybe one pot stock and a couple of others).
I got stuck in towel, unfortunately many of us did. That sub is corrupted. Many feel too stuck to leave. It’ll be interesting to see how that ends but I’m open to the possibility of total loss. Not leaving either way. Should’ve stuck to game only.
I’m concerned as well. Over the last few years what felt like a sounding board of real comments now looks like a sea of misinformation hidden inside partially factual authentic text. When I comment on the negatives CBDCs (as well as other topics) outside of Superstonk I get a weird flurry of people attacking me and supporting government centralized currency and they don’t let up either. I look at their histories and many are on the bets sub and the melters. It’s exhausting to have to analyze these comments and defend one’s position. They can be somewhat persuasive and know how to sow doubt in your logic; they’re so unwavering in their arguments it feels very artificial.

I’m probably going to sound offensive here but 6w5 males can be especially unattractive if they are very the counter type. Very reactive and just edgy. No offense, just been my experience. I have met a few healthier ones that could have an attractive attitude (for the right person) if they aren’t on the highly anxious and neurotic spectrum. Some of my best friends are 6w5, and they all seem to end up with 3s and 9s (much more frequently occurring types). My SO is 6w7 FWIW.

This is the comment. They are lashing out at people they believe to be against them. Kinda like “you ruined my life now I’ll have my revenge” it also gets them notoriety so if they do it for a cause, they believe the cause will receive more attention.
People need to understand this. These people are hurting so badly and feel marginalized so they justify their actions in hurting the society that let them down. Not justifying their actions but it’s hard to sometimes wrap your head around it unless you’ve been there.

Very true. And people feel more comfortable with the emotional (system 1 thinking) reactions to a gruesome act versus taking the time to rationally analyzing those acts (system 2 thinking). System 2 thinking is a more cold and calculated sort of process that can seem to lack a human element in these traumatic scenarios.
