1. 5 days a week of exercise, CGM, and 95% of the food I eat is prepared at home from fresh and real ingredients. Avoid anything that sits on the shelf and is processed. Prioritize protein. Drink a lot of water.

  2. 1 pet peeve of influencers. Your one job is to produce content and you can’t eat give it a rough glance for glaring spelling errors good lord

  3. Try to not eat processed foods. If you can buy all your own food, meal prep and get into the routine of eating similar meals every day so you know how your body reacts and how much insulin to take. Your body loves routine. Also, exercise is so so so important. It’ll help your mental health too. Even if it’s just walking for 30 minutes a day.

  4. If the sauce is super fatty (cheesy) and there’s a lot of protein in the sauce (meat sauce) it’ll slow down your body’s absorption of the glucose from the pasta. In these cases I typically do a little less so I don’t plummet, knowing that I’ll need to do a second round of insulin in ~3-5 hours when it starts going back up again.

  5. The last 5 sensors I’ve used have been crap. Either they are inaccurate or they fail early. Put on a new one last night and It’s said I’ve been LOW for 20 hours straight now despite calibrating 🤡🤡🤡🤡

  6. Don’t put any of your supplies in your checked bag, and bring a finger stick meter if all else fails. You can also buy a lot of things over the counter in the UK. One time I was just nervous I would run out later in my 10 day trip so I went to a local London pharmacy and bought some test strips (exact ones I needed) over the counter. Was a huge relief

  7. Yeah intense exercise (for a lot of people but not all) will spike your glucose because of the stress it puts on your body. Your lover dumps glucose when the body is under stress. Sounds weird lol not sure why it does it

  8. Anyone know if stores hire seasonal educators during the holidays? Also, is it possible to only work Friday - Sunday? I’d love to be a part time educator during the busy season on my weekends off from my normal 8-5 job! Thanks!

  9. My store hires 9-5ers for holiday all the time! You’re just required to work one weekday and one weekend day. You have to work Black Friday and Boxing Day, but the stores are usually so staffed that it’s not overwhelming (:

  10. I feel like 99% of the time my dexcom improves my quality of life sooooo much but that 1% is what’s going to kill me 💀💀💀💀 like cmon bro just work like you’re supposed to do I don’t have to stress

  11. Serena has that essence of not trying at all but still managing to look the best in the room

  12. There are lots of yummy super low carb tortillas on the market that have a lot of fiber too! My fav is the mission carb balance one

  13. I found fiber one wraps that have 14 carbs per wrap and they’re really delicious. I was wondering about just cutting one of those in half and using that for tacos as well.

  14. For sure!! Heat them up in a skillet on the stove top to get them fluffy & warm too!!!

  15. What do you guys set your Apple Watch workout to for the bike boot camps? I want to try one but I feel like the normal indoor cycle workout wouldn’t quite do the trick. Maybe HIIT?

  16. You can sync the Apple Watch to the peloton bike now. If you do it you will get heart rate on screen and strive score.

  17. Maybe it’s God’s way of telling you YOU DONT NEED A CGM

  18. While I understand that people shouldn’t spew hate on the internet bc nothing good ever comes of it, I’m annoyed that influencers get upset when people give their opinions about them & they get upset. Like, you make your living off other people reacting to your content, and it’s silly to assume they’ll all be positive reactions. If you can’t take other people’s opinions, pick a different line of work to support yourself.

  19. It makes me sad that she went to hawaii and only stayed in Waikiki….it’s so touristy & commercialized and nothing like the rest of Oahu. She really missed everything Hawaiian about going to hawaii but then again why am I surprised :/

  20. When was the last time you took a week off? Yep….a full week…..

  21. THIS. One of the most challenging things to do mentally as someone who has always trained and been active 5+ days a week but sooooo rewarding physically. Give your body a break! You deserve it

  22. I just put some stain remover on it and let it sit for a little and threw it in the washing machine on hot! Came out perfecr

  23. Cried about this last night 🥲 we’ll be ok, I promise

  24. Easy answer? I like to eat my glucose in the form of blue sour patch kids

  25. me in the sonic car port yesterday trying to count out $1.68 in change as I waited for the sour patch kids to kick in 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
