You are absolutely correct. The cannabis industry has been taken over by the consumers who only look for what strain has tested the highest in THC. Unfortunately most people are uneducated on the importance of terpene content and the other hundreds of different cannabinoids that play a major role in the medical benefits of the plant. Every old school strain I've grown out has gotten me wayy higher, happier, and more pain relief then my newer strains because of this.

It's definitely worth it. I've grown alot of there strains out and so far quicksand cookies, mango mrr and makeda are my top 3 favorites.
