1. Germany sold Leopard 2 for 1 DM per tank to Poland. Now Poland gets money from the EU (Germany pays the biggest share) to send these to Ukraine.

  2. Pretty sure that Poland also had to cover the cost for shipping+preparations as well. Which does cost many many thousands of DM. Still a huge discount of well over 90% of course.

  3. They are probably praising Germany for 'selling' them those MiG-29s for 1€ each previously, thus enabling Poland to gift these spare parts to Ukraine!

  4. Thank god Germany doesn't have any F-16s. This time PiS/Russian division division will have to look for another target.

  5. If I were you, I would feel stupid right now.

  6. Bro I'm pretty sure at this point pis(s) bullied them into it for once based ( I am a pole )

  7. If Poland gets credit for pressuring Germany for Leopards, then Germany gets credit for pressuring the US to send Abrams.

  8. They have been right. Our Foreign minister recently said that he doesn't understand why Germany should embarrass itself every time when it's negotiations on the weapons.

  9. The soldier will be very disappointed once he realizes that the Leopard 2A4 is worse than the tanks Ukraine already has like the PT-91 or the T-90M with their much more modern electronics, thermals etc. The 2A4 doesn't even have an electronically stabilized gun yet, that was only introduced in later models.

  10. A demonstration of the "not electronically" stabilized gun of a Leopard 2A4 (or maybe even older):

  11. Old data. It says Nov 20th and the article is from last year as well.

  12. Weird post. Unless this post is meant to celebrate Europe's contributions, comparing a continent to a country seems disingenuous.

  13. “The shift in the U.S. position follows a call on Jan. 17 between Biden and Scholz in which Biden agreed to look into providing the Abrams tanks against the judgment of the Pentagon - WSJ”

  14. Scholz 5D chess to get more western tanks into Ukraine confirmed?

  15. If I'm reading this right: Heroes on the front line can't take vacations so neither will you.

  16. Go to google, at the moment total number is lower than Germany. Dunno why you count ordered ones, anyone can do it.

  17. I don't think 'give us more weapons or we will invade you again' is that good of a look.

  18. Is Germany’s ‘permission’ exclusive to Poland?

  19. Permission of arms re-export into schedule III countries can only be given on a case by case basis. Anything else would most likely require the change of the respective law.

  20. Its Russian troll who acuses Zelensky of being facist mafia.

  21. Whatever - Germany is about to lose MAJOR market share in heavy tank manufacturing if they continue to misplay their hand in the Leopard debacle..

  22. Germany doesn't have major market share in new sold tanks since the 90s. No one is buying them new anyways because everyone has either bought non-German or bought 2nd hand German tanks. No significant new manufacturing. Even worse, not a single new tank chassis was produced in the last ~30 years, German industry is - because of the low order volume - still re-using old tank chassis they have lying around for their orders.

  23. Argument was already won when you claimed Germany was 'not sending help'. This is easily proven to be wrong.

  24. TLDR; (I know its not really a TLDR but its like 25 Tweets)

  25. They provided 0.5% of their GDP in a military aid. When France and Germany will do The same The war is close to and end. Or at least get to The level of UK and US support.
