it's okay to be sad sometimes.

A glittering stamp for a feel-good thing

Show nature some love.

Boldly go where we haven't been in a long, long time.

I'm in this with you.

I needed this today

  1. I really didn’t do anything. A couple of years ago she suddenly decided she likes wet cat food and has been eating that instead of her dry food for the most part, and she lost the weight.

  2. I use “sick” and “sweet” interchangeably, can’t be sure if they’re outdated or if I don’t realize other people use them

  3. To nourish yourself, this must become a life practice to which you must continuously return, reaching in with your whole self. As you remind yourself to become more grounded (including actually placing your feet and hands into the ground), you will be better able to release from your body and mind the pain of old and new insult, grievance and confusion as your systems reconnect. In return, this enables you to accept and deflect the chaos of life and challenge negativity with inner peace and fortitude. A soul smile. Wishing you well earned years of freeing, gentle tears and sweat.

  4. This comment wasn't for me, but it brought me comfort, inspiration, and a smile. Thank you!

  5. I want to add to the book recommendations! Pete Walker's book "Complex PTSD: from Surviving to Thriving" has been a huuuge help to me. It's a guide to healing from someone who has done a tremendous amount of healing from his own childhood trauma and has walked many others down the same path as a therapist. It's written with so much compassion and deep understanding for the traumatized human being.

  6. I know this sounds crazy but I LOVE when I am sent only what I purchased. I hate getting freebies that I’ll never use (even the pretty cards they send) all of it stresses me out, trying to figure out what to do with it as to not create clutter in my home until the next time I drop off donations at the thrift.

  7. Genuinely curious, not trying to argue or judge, why do pretty cards stress you out?

  8. It goes straight to trash. It is a waste of money and resources. Not to mention that it is enviromentally vulgar.

  9. Humans are known to have bacteria that can be really harmful to humans.

  10. Lots of good suggestions here for archetypes and quadrants. Just wanted to add that my first impression is a strong cozy vibe with some earthiness and sophistication. Also fwiw I really like it <3

  11. Bring spikey accessories - crystals, ceramic lotus flowers, etc. (get creative) - place them at the perimeter of your mat under the guise of creating a sacred space, profit.

  12. So, this may be dumb, but do you leave them out all night? Keep them in the fridge?

  13. You can also make fermented oats by leaving them out of the fridge overnight (typically with some water and yogurt). Sounds weird but it's yummy and the fermentation can make them easier to digest.

  14. In a video by Aly Art I had the displeasure to watch last night, she straight up described Natural faces as 'meaty' looking in certain hat types. 'if I may say so', no Aly you can't.

  15. That verbal tick is sooo annoying! Her saying "FG's look like little boys, if I may say so" is ingrained in my psyche now. Like, bish, you're saying it! Too late to ask for permission.

  16. Dang your Tort sounds just like my tabby! Cheese shreds at 530 am followed by water feets while I get ready. Any deviation from the process is met with swift reprisal!

  17. Or at the very least ones that are not so obviously photoshopped.

  18. Playing sad songs on my ukulele seems to work pretty well. Helped me get out of depression.

  19. I thought it was going to be a naked lady named Lavender

  20. Right look at that bro. Only thing he's scaring is a couple of cheese burgers

  21. Whaaaat?! I didn’t know that. Learn something new today.

  22. Ideal frequency varies person-to-person. It's best for hair and scalp health to wash your hair as often as you need to / as often as your hair will tolerate. People with drier scalps + hair will need less frequency, people with oilier scalps will need (and tolerate) more. There's nothing inherently wrong with washing your hair every day.

  23. Also, Selena Gomez? I don't see how she's an example of an un-curvy person.

  24. Local purchase/rental or shipped both ways your van is more expensive for two months than a cheap room rental.

  25. Marisa Tomei, Naomi Watts and Kylie Minogue all look younger than their age, even considering makeup. I think they all legitimately kept up with expensive skincare. Or maybe I made that up. I don’t know what I’m talking about.

  26. It's way more than just skincare. Celebrities have all of the reasons and all of the resources to keep themselves looking young. The ones who don't use every trick in the book (botox, cosmetic surgery, etc) are in the minority. It's just done well so they more or less retain their original natural face (because again, they're loaded and their careers depend on their faces).

  27. Yeah kiki reminds me of spiky and bouba reminds me of bubble or boba
