I really didn’t do anything. A couple of years ago she suddenly decided she likes wet cat food and has been eating that instead of her dry food for the most part, and she lost the weight.

I want to add to the book recommendations! Pete Walker's book "Complex PTSD: from Surviving to Thriving" has been a huuuge help to me. It's a guide to healing from someone who has done a tremendous amount of healing from his own childhood trauma and has walked many others down the same path as a therapist. It's written with so much compassion and deep understanding for the traumatized human being.
I know this sounds crazy but I LOVE when I am sent only what I purchased. I hate getting freebies that I’ll never use (even the pretty cards they send) all of it stresses me out, trying to figure out what to do with it as to not create clutter in my home until the next time I drop off donations at the thrift.

You can also make fermented oats by leaving them out of the fridge overnight (typically with some water and yogurt). Sounds weird but it's yummy and the fermentation can make them easier to digest.

Ideal frequency varies person-to-person. It's best for hair and scalp health to wash your hair as often as you need to / as often as your hair will tolerate. People with drier scalps + hair will need less frequency, people with oilier scalps will need (and tolerate) more. There's nothing inherently wrong with washing your hair every day.

It's way more than just skincare. Celebrities have all of the reasons and all of the resources to keep themselves looking young. The ones who don't use every trick in the book (botox, cosmetic surgery, etc) are in the minority. It's just done well so they more or less retain their original natural face (because again, they're loaded and their careers depend on their faces).
