Hey, I quit working in food service for the sake of my mental health in college. For me, it was the social anxiety. It is really stressful, and you definitely need to protect your sleep schedule. Congrats on prioritizing yourself! Your new job sounds really cute and comparatively wayyyy more enjoyable. Enjoy your new job!! :)
I think once I start my shift my social anxiety kind of melts. I work in the kitchen so I'm just with my coworkers but even they can really make me want to quit on the spot with how berating they can be sometimes. I always get a huge wave of anxiety before work because I think I'll screw something up/get yelled at.
