1. Don't Look Up score deserves more appreciation. Done by the same guy who composes the music for Succession

  2. "Hello, I'm Tom Hanks. The US government has lost its credibility so it's borrowing some of mine."

  3. Voting has concluded. Final vote:

  4. People here have asked this a few times, unfortunately it seems like the script isn't publicly available yet (although I'd be happy to be proven wrong)

  5. Teardrop on Tubi. I've been putting it off because of bad reviews, but the writer will be helping out with this sub's screenplay challenge so I got interested and wanna check it out

  6. It has a few interesting moments, but the extremely low budget doesn't do it any favors. Unfortunately it's guilty of some awkward dialogue and unrealistic character decisions. At the very least, I thought it was a little better than the reviews let on.

  7. On the final script for my group, great work everyone! Looking forward to seeing which scripts advance to the second round

  8. As far as the story taking a while to get to the horror, I don't think they forgot about the beginning. Readers will have a hard time riding the high from the opener all the way to 70 pages later when the next real horror scene occurs.

  9. I'm ready to read some scripts! Hopefully everyone is alright with how loosely I used the definition of scientist for my condition

  10. If my 70th page isn't fully filled will that only count as 69.whatever and disqualify me?

  11. Halfway through. Will be cutting it very close, but it's all planned and I really like where the story has ended up. Hoping this is the first time I actually get to submit to one of these challenges

  12. Only 15 pages, but I have 95% planned out and the story is short. Hoping to just squeeze by with a little over 70. I'm not sure how long I'll have for rewrites, but it will be nice to have something so short in my repertoire.

  13. Is that the mortician from Final Destination? I guess you can dream, but that would be an awful decision

  14. Pretty stiff dialogue. Bass in particular reads robotic

  15. For anyone who is having or trying to help someone having a panic attack, a really good trick is a grounding technique. Name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 thinks you can feel, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. Do it outloud. I usually get better by the time im thinking of what i can hear.

  16. First time I saw a version of this was Bojack Horseman

  17. If it's not too late I'd love to enter! This sounds like a lot of fun :D

  18. That's a great subject!!! Thank you, now all I need is for someone else to give me a condition and I'll be good to go haha

  19. Yeah I also signed up late, was worried about getting both in time to start writing. I can give you a condition as well in case nobody else comes.
