Maybe buy broken batter for cheap, and spend the rest of money on profesional cell replacement? Is it possible or there is some kind of sensor detecting if battery is open? Im also intrested in good quality battery for older thinkpad.
eBay seller techbros_warehouse was selling genuine X230 batteries earlier this year, but it looks like they're gone now. Might be worth sending them a message to see if they have one more kicking around somewhere that they haven't listed.
