Good skiing resorts?

  1. Bad Gastein. Decent ski resort, hot thermal spa for afterwards and a very unique mid 19th century holiday resort town (slightly run down Belle époque hotels, with somewhat eerie/ghost town vibes). Stunning nature, there's a big waterfall running through the town center.

  2. Trois Vallees - Val Thorens, Meribel, Courchevel . Love it because you can stay in VT which is cheaper and then head over to the super expensive stuff in Meribel and Courch. Massive ski area, pretty high altitude. Other resorts are fun and iconic (Chamonix is on my personal bucket list) but 3 Valleys is I would say the best if you're being practical! That being said I think so many European resorts are dependent on snow - if you have good snow then take a guide and you'll have an amazing time pretty much anywhere...

  3. I was in just val thorens last time i was skiing in the alps! Im looking for something new actually, Chamonix could be an option for sure
