Agreed, Florida native here and summer time means crowds, mosquitos and humidity. Come in the winter or spring , it’s beautiful then! Personally I’d go to North Carolina, enjoy the mountains and cooler temps.
Isle of Palms, South Carolina. It’s a very short drive to Charleston where there are TONS of amazing food options. There are also some really good food options on the island and the beaches are gorgeous.
Cape Cod is beautiful in the summer, and like others have mentioned not as hot or humid as the Carolinas or Florida. You'll still get the same beachy feel but a much better climate.
One of our favorite things is to rent a really nice house in the outerbanks with a private pool and be kid free and swimming together for a week. Walk to dinner, see the sunset and just be lazy and together with our own pool and peace.
It sort of depends on what you like, but I've really enjoyed the Outer Banks in NC - cheaper than Hilton Head and a more laid back vibe. We rented a beachfront condo in Kill Devil Hills and it was a great jumping off point.
We did South Carolina in May and it was hot, but nothing like the Alabama heat we’re used too. We specifically went to Beaufort and absolutely loved it!
If you're gonna travel some place hot make it a place where you can be in water. It's not only good for circulation, especially if you experience swelling, being able to float will help take some of that belly weight off your back and allow you to relax some. I legit plan on spending the last part of my pregnancy floating in our neighborhood pool since I live in the GA and it deff gets hot!. If i felt comfortable enough to travel towards the end I'd go to a resort that you can get poolside service and such and just be able to lounge and relax and get waited on 😆
You could do a savannah/Charleston weekend! They are just a two hour drive from eachother. Lots of things to do, great food, charming, non big city feel. Husband and I honeymooned in Savannah a few years ago and recently went back last month, and included a day in Charleston. So nice!
We did Asheville in June 2019. Perfect weather not too hot. Great food. It was a bummer I couldn't drink but I still enjoyed the vibe at the breweries.
I would suggest any mountain area in NC. Asheville would be my top pick (NC born n raised). The beaches here are really underwhelming. I also don’t think Florida beaches are much better tbh and I’m 100% a beach girl. And especially the heat of beaches during pregnancy I think would kill me. I went to Cancun at 15 weeks and was DYING and it was only 80 degrees lol
Without more information, it's kind of hard to suggest ideas. But, going on just interest of Florida or the Carolinas- my vote is for either the Florida Keys or Charleston.
Welcome to
I would stay away from florida in the summer because it’s so hot. I vote Vermont or Rhode island!

Charleston, Asheville or Hilton head
These are all very relaxing but bougie in case budget is important
These were going to be my exact same suggestions!
Sanibel Island is gorgeous, full of good food options, and low-key
Was coming to suggest Captiva!!
Savannah GA is beautiful, walkable and a lot of fun!
We went to Savannah on our honey/baby moon! It was really fun but super hot (went in September).
It’s also right near Tybee Island, for a quick beach getaway!
So many good options! St. Augustine is a good one.

Martha’s Vineyard is always a fun day trip too! You can rent electric bikes and ride around the island.

The outer banks are very dangerous during hurricane season so keep that in mind. And they’ve become touristy in recent years
We stayed at The Henderson in Destin, FL for our baby moon! It was perfect ❤️
I stayed at a resort in Newport RI and had a nice prenatal massage and enjoyed the city! It was really nice
We already live in FL but our babymoon this summer is to St. Augustine, FL and Savannah, GA! Just booked it tonight
I live in Florida and if you are looking for interesting beach towns I suggest Fernandina Beach, St. Augustine, Sanibel Island, or New Smyrna.
Destin, Florida

Charleston, SC! One of my favorite places to vacation 😊

I’m hoping to go to Charleston!
Portland, Maine!
