My brother-in-law is a retired concert stagehand. Here is the letter he received from Pink Floyd Music Ltd. inviting him to join the stage crew for a series of The Wall concerts in London in 1981. He accepted.
Aren't those tapes the ones that have surfaced as the "Is There Anybody Out There" bootleg? I thought they never did an official release because the footage quality ended up being too shitty for a professional release.
Unbelievably cool. I love how it’s written in quite a casual manner, sounds like an incredible experience.
I saw The Wall 2-26-80. Changed my life.
But the letter says it was going to be made the summer of 81? I don't get it
Roger, release the bloody tapes already
#releasethewaterscut
Out of the loop here, what tapes?

We really need a blu-ray release of The Wall!!
Not only is that very cool but also something so specific and memorable. Absolutely agree - what an awesome experience that must have been!
This is a museum peace right here 😍
I didn’t know they referred to themselves as The Floyd. Interesting
I wish I knew people that knew Pink Floyd or did something for them
April fools!
ah, and it's from Mark Fisher the famous stage designer, known also for his work for Stones, U2 and lots more. Nice!
Very cool. Thanks for posting!! ✌️✌️✌️
I went to one of the shows. It had such a significant effect on me.
Amazing!!!
I would pay to put a single brick in The Wall in those shows. Lucky guy!
No shit. I'm instantly jealous
All the money stuff. MONEY!
Fantastic piece of memorabilia
This is so fucking cool
That's bad ass man you should have that in a frame
Good thing he didn’t take it for an April Fools joke.
My dream would be to time travel back to attend PF and LZ concerts!
