As a LeBron fan, thank God. He shouldn't have to exert so much in the regular season at 38 years old, 20 seasons in. AD and the rest of the team stepping up should extend his career too.
It’s about time. I think this is what LeBron wanted since 2020. As a bron fan, we’ll finally get to see him just run the offense as a second option and not have to be relied on for everything.
last season where we witness high level games? nah. If he can avoid major injury bron will keep adjusting…. will the numbers look different…sure. will it be high level or play? id bet on it
Were we not having conversations about who the best player on the lakers were in 2020? Even in the playoffs people were saying AD was the best player until around the Nuggets or Heat series.
The offense just runs much smoother when Russ/Schroder is attacking the paint, and feeding the ball to AD for an easy buckey. LeBron comes back in without AD. And the offense goes to shit again with Russ looking lost, and Bron having to resort to hero ball.
russ is only good when the ball is in his hands after all. but at the same time u dont want to relegate lebron to go to the corner and stand still. so russ needs to adapt on how to be effective when the ball isnt in his hands 60 percent of the time.
Nah 2020 as well if you caught the full postseason. LeBron crushed the Finals, but outside of that AD was the guy hitting shots and making stops in the 4th.
Sadly I’m not optimistic about ad’s health, but completely agree. If AD had stayed healthy ( not a big surprise he been injured considering his history), then he should have taken the reins atleast two years ago.

Bron and AD will go back and forth in the playoffs. But this was the plan since they went to the lakers cuz bron was getting older. The only reason bron was number 1 till now was cuz ad didnt have it together.
There's probably a conversation to ba had about that, but I'd still give the edge to Lebron. He had more points, rebound, assist, steals, better ts%, better 3p%, and was ahead of Wade in every advanced stat (PER, WS, VORP, BPM)
I think that was kinda the point of the AD trade. Glad to see him taking the reigns so 67 yr old LeBron can pace himself.
The pacemaker
Funny how lebrons checkpoint is a spot that 99% of players never reach
lakers finally realize that instead of driving and kicking to a 3 point shooter they can just drive and kick to AD

Pat bev did say this is his team
Larry Hughes in shambles
big z beside himself
Matthew Dellavedova is beside himself
It's crazy we're only coming to this point in his 20th season.
LeBron is ONLY putting up 27/9/7. Being hobbled for the first part of the season. Clearly no longer effective.

When was the last time Lebron was not the best player on his team? Maybe going back to his first year at St Vincent-St Mary?
The disrespect to Darius Miles
No, have you never seen playoff LeBron? He's just warming up...
They were 2-10.
It's been 2.5 years now since we've seen actual healthy "playoff LeBron" so who knows what that entails at this point
Were we not having conversations about who the best player on the lakers were in 2020? Even in the playoffs people were saying AD was the best player until around the Nuggets or Heat series.
Pretty sure AD only played better in the semifinals and even that was close. But I could be misremembering.

WB has alot of bailouts this season. If it's not a lob he will alwsys have a cutter. Great coaching change this season
Health is the worry for AD.
Thanks for the insight.

I'll die on the hill that AD was better in 2020.
Delonte West is in shambles, literally!
AD was better in 2020 too
No he was not lol lebron was literally 2nd in mvp voting behind giannis
Mmmmm no.
Wade was better in 2011.
Said no sane one Ever. May be in 1 series. (Not may be, definitely)
Shiiiit only took 2 decades!

Should have happened a long time ago. Old Street Clothes has underachieved for a very long time.
Lebron only needs to be LEBRON for 16 games.
Derrick Rose????
Kareem got to hand the reigns to fuckin MAGIC JOHNSON. imagine if Bron got a player like that the last 5-6 years
He wasn’t the best player on his team in 2010

And it only took 20 years for LeFraud to get exposed
