  1. I think it’s a vocoder for the main effect. They’re also reversing the vocal and swelling it up with reverb before each phrase. Hope that helps

  2. Like another person said, theres definitely a reverse(ed) reverb creating swells. The actual vocal effect seems to be an autotuned and distorted vocal, and then double tracked with a another heavily autotuned vocal but sung in a higher register and with more reverb. They might be right that its a vocoder on the main effect, as it seems like the notes are pretty dead on. The second vocal is definitely autotune though, you can tell that the tuning is following the vocals. Vocoders just dont behave that way typically.
