I suggest to add into the cheese mixture a few dollops of cream cheese (2-4 tablespoons depending on your liking) and if you like things to be a tad more herb-y(for lack of better terms), also add two tablespoons of a pesto sauce. You can make your own easily or buy a ready made package. Anyways it adds a lot more flavor! Also never forget to season your meat (salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, garlic powder or preferably MORE crushed garlic than this recipe asks for). Sometimes I do half ground beef and half Italian sausage. It just adds a more complex flavor profile.
My mom always used cottage cheese in her lasagna, when I started making lasagna I used Ricotta. Recently I decided to revisit cottage cheese in lasagna and I like it better
The sounds great and I can’t wait to try it. I think I’ll be subbing out the cottage cheese tho; it grosses me out and I can’t stand it. Ricotta cheese should work!
I like this

The one thing about people who can cook is they know how to adjust a recipe to suit their taste.
Oh man this looks awesome
Ricotta > Cottage but cottage is healthier.

I think you need to season the meat first, then brown the beef in skillet.
I don't agree. I go with #4
Sounds great. Since the grocery store lost my turkey and fixings order, maybe we'll have Italian for Thanksgiving
This looks and smells very delicious. Thank you very much for sharing. I can't wait to try this.
