Is a delta8 preroll from a random smoke shop safe?

  1. No it is not. Delta 8 flower in general I stay away from, as many companies use ethanol or isopropyl based sprays to spray the D8 on. Not worth the risk imo, a smoke shop once gave me a free d8 joint and I tossed it

  2. If you want to smoke flower, get some hemp from tweedle farms or something and add delta 8 distillate to whatever you want to smoke.

  3. As a rule of thumb probably not unfortunately. It's probably hemp flower sprayed with distillate and ethanol with shady if any lab results about the flower or distillate and just not worth it overall. Get some distillate fill a c cell cartridge. it's surprisingly easy and so much cheaper.

  4. Hey, the Δ⁸ friendly automod here. I see you used the word "sprayed." If this is in reference to D8 sprayed hemp flower, VERY FEW VENDORS provide a residual solvent lab on the final sprayed hemp product.

  5. Delta 8 prerolls and flower in general is not typically safe as it's typically sprayed. A cart or disposable should be fine, just make sure to scan QR codes and check for lab tests.

  6. Soulflower hemp makes great combustable Delta8 products and never uses ethanol for infusion. Just cryo method, and the result is a smooth smoke. Check out the dog walkers, they are great.

  8. I would buy some hemp buds offline and maybe a cheap ounce of d8 and make your own. That's what I do. Carts, edibles, joints, all that stuff. And it's so much cheaper that way. My ounce of d8 has lasted me 3 months already and it was only 30$.

  9. “Safe” is a relative term. I don’t think smoking one preroll will give you cancer and kill you. But I don’t recommend smoking stuff from random smoke shops as their products typically do not have any kind of quality control

  10. I want to add to this and say that online vs brick and mortar, both require a grain of salt. I see this kind of thing posted alot. Getting from a smoke shop is not inherently unsafe, nor is ordering from an online retail safer. For either one the important thing is just make sure you're checking for lab tests for residual solvents, pesticides, etc. Especially for flower but disty/edibles as well.
