Anyone have experience with this tent? Looking to buy.

  1. I have that tent. Fairly easy to set up and there’s lots of space. Haven’t been in wind and rain with it, so not sure how it will hold up. Overall we really like it. Make sure to have a ground cloth as the floor is pretty thin.

  2. Yep this tent is awesome. Definitely get a taor and seal teh seems but I have been in 2 nasty storms in this and both times just had a very small puddle from water pooling underneath in a corner.

  3. Before you go spend a bunch of money on a footprint for your tent if you know somebody that does construction have them get you a big piece of tyvek house wrap vapor barrier or see if you can get a piece at your local hardware store durable and weighs practically nothing and cheap

  4. Two family friends have this tent, both are able to set it up quickly and take down. 2 out of 3 years we have had torrential downpours and they have stayed dry. We also have the ozark trail of similar size with a screen porch and love ours as well. Both are well worth money for car camping.

  5. We have that tent. Never in the rain with it though. Its awesome as hell. Quick to set-up and easy to pack away. Large enough for for our family and clothes and inflatable matresses. I always throw a tarp over my tent anyways as a safety measure.

  6. I have this tent. Had it for 3 years. It's huge, can easily stand in it. No leaks so far though it hasn't been through any major storms. Insulation wise it is not ment for winter but with a tent heater it's been fine.

  7. Can this hold two side by side twin cots? Trying to make a king bed for the whole family to sleep on. I just bought this tent and have the cots coming in the mail to go camping next weekend.

  8. Probably. We use 2 Kelty brand cots with the XPed mega mat on top. We don’t put them side by side, but in an L to have an open space in the front. 2 would fit side by side though

  10. I have same tent but half the size. Works great in wind, rain, and storms. Never had any leaks or issues
