Circadian Rhythm Shift instead of Less Sleep during Manic Episodes???

  1. Yes! Sometimes I gaslight myself into thinking I’m not manic because I can still sleep. I assume that I have to be completely awake or sleeping for three hours a night to qualify. 2. Yes. One time, I ended up sleeping through an ethics exam in law school and being diagnosed with a delayed phase sleep disorder, for which they gave me Ambien. The Ambien was ineffective to sedate me, so I'd be awake for the unpleasant hypnotic effects. And my sleep kept shifting around the clock.
