Best practice

  1. I think you may be focusing too much on literal nose to book research each time you design a program. Designing a program on positive reinforcement of a new behavior is an evidence based program as positive or negative reinforcement is an evidence-based practice in itself. Some things I've run into are individuals running interventions that have no evidence-based practices in them, such as social stories. There is no research that shows social stories by themselves can be an effective intervention. They must be paired with some sort of antecedent procedures, as well as consequence procedures to teach the skill. All of which are research-based strategies that we learn while we are acquiring our credential.

  2. Hey I’m currently trying to start an ABA agency and wanted to better understand how to get insurance agencies in network does anyone have any articles or advice on how to learn about this?
