How to cope!! :(

  1. First, I'm sorry you have to go through this. It's miserable truly. I'm still not exactly sure what I did to cope with it, I cried and cried for months, on shower days, brushing my hair, etc. I can say what did help me was keeping my hair up somehow someway, and washing it 1/2x a week. It helped me not see it fall out, so I wasn't fixated on seeing chunks. I hope this gets better for you sooner than later.

  2. It was the same for me. I used to cry a lot when brushing my hair and when showering. It was three long months in which my hair was shedding crazy. It's frustrating to see how your hair falls and you can do nothing but wait until it stops. The best thing to do is to be patient and take care of yourself mentally.

  3. I am so sorry your going through this:/ are you still losing about this much everyday? Or everytime you wash your hair? And if so how many days do you go without washing cause if you only wash 1-2 times a week those hairs accumulate and could be roughly 300 strands if your going 3+ days without washing.

  4. Roughly 50-100 white bulb hair strands from the root is considered “normal” I know everyone’s normal is different though. My hair is still thinning cause I still shed hair obviously and those new hairs take so long to grow so I won’t see any improvement until those new strands are atleast 6+ inches cause I have very long hair… I need to chop it it’s just been hard.

  5. I was losing double this :/ when I had active TE it’s hard and shedding won’t stop completely but it’ll go back to normal shedding. And the new hairs will eventually catch up and density will be restored! Hang in there it’s a very long long process but it’ll recover!
