Does anyone have any recommendations for coping mechanisms?

  1. Well you're actively seeking out treatment which is great, I'm sorry you haven't found success with therapy, but I really recommend you stick with it. Have you ever checked out any resources? I always recommend the book Freedom From Obsessive Compulsive Disorder by Jonathan Grayson. I feel like it does a pretty good job of laying out what exactly is triggering the OCD and suggests a lot of different techniques for coping and working on lessening symptoms.

  2. Thanks for the recommendation! And yes, I’m also not leaving therapy, I don’t have enough money for more than 1 visit a week.
