I just want someone to tell me that I'm not a screw up

  1. Duckling, I love you. You have inherent, infinite worth just because of who you are. Your value isn’t dependent on how many mistakes you make.

  2. Thanks mom , it's harder sometimes to remember that mistakes don't make me less worthy of feeling proud or myself or worth less . I appreciate your advice . And yes mom , I'll use a planner and remember to brush my teeth .

  3. I love you, my dear, just the way you are! You are not a screw up at all. Your brain just works a little different than some... that's all.

  4. I see how hard you are trying! I'm so very proud of you. Everyone makes mistakes, even me! It's just part of being human. Try to be kind to yourself. I love you. Have a great night.

  5. You are not a screw up. You are a uniquely and wonderfully made human being. You have special talents, skills and purpose. It may not always feel like that, but it's true. Hugs to you! 🤗

  6. Oh hunny your not a screw up and Ofcouse I still love you. Honestly it would be a miracle if you hadn’t had adhd. Remember sweetie it runs in family’s witch means we all have it and we all understand and we all love you. Yes even my evil sister. You will always be loved, you will always matter and you my dear could never in a million years be a screwup.

  7. You're not a screw up, duckie! I have ADHD too, and I know how hard and frustrating it can be to navigate every day life with it. No matter how many mistakes you make, no matter how big or small they are, I will always love you. I think you're perfect just for getting up and trying again every day. I'm so proud of you honey, you couldn't be a screw up in my eyes if you tried.

  8. Thanks mom, I'll keep trying, and I'm sure that you tried and failed many times when you were growing up, and it's made you the strong person that I'm sure you are.

  9. You're not a screw up. We all make mistakes, we all succeed sometimes. ADHD is hard to deal with, so the fact that you're getting along even okay is impressive (a lot of the people who give you grief would probably crumple instantly if they had to suddenly had to deal with ADHD in their own brain).

  10. You're not a screw up never think that. Also this mom wants you to quit living your diagnosis. You cannot allow yourself to be ruled by your diagnosis. It's part of you not everything you are. It took me a long time to realize that with my own diagnosis. This is my advice to you. Be well and blessed be

  11. Sweetheart, do you know why pencils are made with erasers atop them? It’s because we all make mistakes. A judgment error would be to see an error and choose not to correct it. Thomas Edison was a genius but it was his diligence in failing to concede to failure that gifted us all. I hope you check out the little history books they have for little ones at the library near you so you can see what I mean. A shining example of a mentor and hero. Angel hugs
