Can kicking by the Bank of England but we are reaching end game

  1. I lost all but one penny of my Worldcom 401k back then. I got a check for that one penny from Lehman Brothers which had to be reissued after they went under.

  2. Like that quantum computer that reduced thousands of equations into 4, they need to stall the fall so that they can spread the pain onto others. If the market falls 10 percent a week for 10 weeks then mission accomplished. The frog in the hot water. But if they lose control then market forces will have their lunch.

  3. Pretty sure it was a regular computer that used AI to reduce a large set of equations related to quantum interactions down to 4, no quantum computer involved. Still cool, though.

  4. Not to be the math teacher that I am , your math is off a tad, unless you mean 10% each week for this and the following nine weeks for the same dollar amount paid in the first week, then you’ve got it. Otherwise, it’s like moving halfway from your point & the door, the numbers cave in on themselves without it ever reaching $0. Your way works in my brain because it seems like torture & having people beg at your feet. Gives them hope that if they can just take it for another week, then maybe they will have a chance for some momentary relief from misery and a chance we might just walk away bc we’re bored. How long will we allow the satisfaction brought about by their cries and oooh the anticipation of seeing the looks on their faces when they realize all hope is lost and that their present moment will be the best theyll ever feel for the rest of their lives

  5. All of them. They all use LDI gilts to hedge inflation and forex volatility. Gilts aren’t supposed to jump like the they have this week, not without gross economic mismanagement.

  6. All of them. They all use LDI gilts to hedge inflation and forex volatility. Gilts aren’t supposed to jump like the they have this week, not without gross economic mismanagement.

  7. I saw something that said they're using long duration inflation gilts to hedge their long exposure. So with rising inflation and market volatility they have been asked to put up more collateral than normally required.

  8. Also cant have these baby boomers all retiring at once and depleting the labor force. Better wash their retirements out and make em keep working.

  9. Lol. "We are reaching end game". You need to realize that this could go on for YEARS. 'End game' has come up basically weekly since March 2020.

  10. Those pension funds are already a going concern. Maybe they can hire BCG to make them bankrupt. Cmon BOE hire them. Fucking idiots

  11. What part of any of this is capitalism? Losing, pause game, reset timer. The only reason these systems have lasted as long as they have is because they're criminally duplicitous and the voting public has the intelligence of rocks.
