DIY Colour Map - an updated guide

  1. Hi!! I love the idea but struggling to understand the vector part. This is what I have so far. What do I do next?

  2. Thank you for this (and for the whole system, I love it!). You've inspired me to go back and play around more with my purples, as they definitely could connect better. I also have a slightly warm charcoal grey that I wear quite a bit in real life that I couldn't fit in to my pallette the first time around - I'm not sure yet whether it's just not actually a good colour for me or if I have a missing link in there, or if I can handle some disconnection in my palette, which doesn't seem likely based on the rest of it I think.

  3. oh I already love your map so much and I thought it had a wonderful 'dirty beach' quality I hadn't seen before, but I'm interested in any way people further refine their palette. I know I look back at older palettes and see potential for finessing them.

  4. Thank you so much for this!! I’ve just binge-read your colour map exercises and wanted to say that I really admire your work :)

  5. I'm definitely a guilty party of this! Thank you so much for sharing. I think I will play around with this when I have the time. :)

  6. Hi, I’m very aware that I am not a professional stylist so I am hesitant to comment on how to wear colour unless I really feel confident a certain idea is really effective for a specific person?
