Tent help!

  1. So just tape it back on? Will that hold up to the pressure from the tent rod? I’m down for trying anything. I really don’t want to buy a new tent

  2. Get a square of tarp material, sew the tab to that. You could either glue or sew the tarp patch back to the tent, covering and reinforcing the hole. If you sew it, use a little seam sealer in the stitches to keep it waterproof.

  3. I have the stuff for hand sewing, and I’m willing to put in the time and effort for it. I use it several times a year for family camping trips. I want to continue to get the use out of it. I have kept the tent in excellent condition from day about 5 years ago. So the typical family camping trips are the use I want to get out of it.

  4. Cut a piece of tarp to cover the whole. Glue it down with gorilla glue heavy duty fabric adhesive. Then you will have a place to stitch it into. Or you could find the placement so it's right for your pole and rivet it into place.
