what song are you currently obsessed with ?

  1. Season of The Witch by Donovan. I don’t know much of the artist’s stuff at all but something about the song relaxes me in a way.

  2. Fantastic song! A lot of people don’t know it, but Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones played on many Donovan songs as session musicians before forming Led Zeppelin.

  3. Oooo give Atlantis by Donovan a try too, one of my fav’s of his. Sunshine Superman is always fun too oh and Colours is super sweet

  4. My 12 year old daughter is currently obsessed with Black Sabbath, Ozzy, and Metallica. And she’s learning electric guitar. Thanks Stranger Things.

  5. I’d also suggest: In Your Room by Depeche Mode. It’s so haunting and foreboding, absolutely epic track. In my opinion their best song!

  6. As someone who suffers from intermittent tinnitus, I'll share a tip I read here on Reddit years ago. Put your palms over your ears so they make a good seal with your fingers on the back of your head. Then tap the back of your head with all your fingers simultaneously multiple times, like 5 seconds or so. The ringing stops. Repeat as necessary.

  7. The sands of time for me are running (deep breath) loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...oooo...ooooo .... (cough.)...o.. (cough)

  8. I didn't like this song at first, but its grown on me. I've heard that the song was written about a real interaction he had with movers at his house.

  9. Separate Ways is the superior Journey song, not Don’t Stop Believin’. I don’t care what anyone says lol

  10. The whole album (Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge) was full of bangers from start to finish. I'll never get tired of Ghost of You.

  11. Seriously, no song has ever dug itself into my brain as thoroughly as The Stable Song. It's been 7 years since I first heard it and I still think about it every day. It's not even my favorite song by him, but for some reason it just lives in my head.

  12. I like J. Cole because he’s got a great mix of bravado and self-awareness. That song is all about the fact he can basically get whatever woman he wants these days— but he checks himself with the realization that it’s strictly because of his fame:

  13. My cousin was obsessed with this song years and years ago. He’d throw this on along with the Nirvana MTV unplugged album and these will forever remind me of those summer days driving around with the whole world ahead of us. Those were good days.

  14. Absolute banger! System is nothing but fire anyways, but that track and "Old School Hollywood" were just pure happiness for me.

  15. Steez woulda been huge man. His verse on Survival Tactics blew me away when I heard it. I still have trouble watching and listening to free the robots. Hearing of his passing really hit me. Such a sad sad story. RIP to him and condolences to his family.

  16. Interstellar Theme- I can’t hold back tears from a few seconds of listening, the movie changed me forever and it’s beautiful song reminds me of the hope that I have for myself after exiting a haunting 7 year depression.

  17. I don't care how popular Metallica is, Ride the Lightning is one of the greatest metal albums in history and I will gladly die in that hill

  18. Try listening to their old stuff, such as their album 'whatever people say I am I'm not' and their EP 'who tf are arctic monkeys' You won't be disappointed. Also without stating their obvious songs if you like do I wanna know, ur gonna love 505
