What is a show that you like every single season of?

  1. I literally just started watching it again last night. I'm sick as hell and finally have some time to catch up. I watched almost the first season when it came out but I just went ahead and started over. The dude that plays Ed Kemper is awesome

  2. Part of the magic of the show is that the writers ended it when the story was over instead of extending it until we all lost interest. I wish more shows could follow that lead, but normally, they milk it for all it's worth.

  3. Currently marathoning the series for the first time and I’m on Season 3. I have never saw a show that starts out strong and keeps that momentum going. Usually there’s a rough or even bad episode along the way but not this so far.

  4. Rewatching it now. From beginning to the end. Just great so far. I’ve seen most episodes before but not in order. It really is so well done.

  5. I’ve never seen a show I’ve loved more. Bob Odenkirk is perfection. And the growth and rawness of his relationship with Kim is so satisfying to watch. It feels so real it’s insane.

  6. It's so good. I randomly discovered it when I was in high school and loved how wacky and creative it was, it kinda made me feel like a kid again. Now I watch it with my daughter and she loves it too ❤

  7. I can't watch that show any more, it's too emotional at the end. Not because of the end of the story, but because that's all there is.

  8. Sometime I fantasize about one of the big streaming platforms picking it up and continuing the story, and then I realize it's been 20 fucking years 😭. What a waste of potential

  9. Loved it. They had a live show that came to the Fox Theater in Atlanta that I saw in like 2008 or 2009. Underrated show

  10. The Good Place. It’s not at all just the same old same old season after season. The characters all truly evolve and so does the overall theme. Plus the ending is magnificent.

  11. Some of the best comedy I have ever had the pleasure of watching. The writing is great and the story is really interesting, with characters that go through meaningful development during the entire show

  12. What the fork! How could I forget about this show? I stopped after the first season because life got crazy but now I'm going to watch it again.

  13. Justified is the most consistently excellent show I've ever seen. Seasons 2, 3 and 6 are the best, but they're all great.

  14. Black Sails. I scrolled all they way through this thread looking for someone else to mention it but no one did. Maybe mine is an unpopular opinion? But I loved all the seasons.

  15. MASH. Whether it's Spear Chucker, Hawkeye, BJ Honeycut, or Trapper John, that's the show that I turn on. I don't care if it's Colonel Potter or Colonel Blake, I eat it up like a chocolate cake.

  16. The first ever burger of the day being The Child Molester (Comes with candy) fucking killed me. I knew that it would be a show to watch for a long time. It’s also a treat whenever regular-sized Rudy shows up

  17. That shows is awesome, because they managed to deviate from the “dumb dad” thing, like Homer Simpson and Peter Griffin. I talked to a buncha dads who were getting sick of that.

  18. I didn't click with it till the 2nd season, I thought the first was pretty forgettable, as important as it was for world-building etc, but from S2 onwards it was just fantastic.

  19. Such a hauntingly beautiful tale. A perfect balance of humor and despair. The ideal catharsis for when you're depressed and lonely, but also just light-hearted enough to be good fun when you're drunk and bored. And it has a fitting ending. No abrupt cancellation leaving you wanting more, and no running it into the ground until it's a shadow of its former self. It leaves you feeling equal parts satisfied, sad, and hopeful. It's my most rewatched show.

  20. Speaking of.....I remember an episode where Walter and Jesse moved the lab into a house that was closed off for pest control. When I rewatched the entire series, I couldn't find it. Am I delirious?

  21. The rich and powerful take what they want. We steal it back for you. Sometimes bad guys make the best good guys. We provide Leverage.

  22. Literally finished it an hour ago. Maybe I'm still overwhelmed by it all, but this is one of those rare tv shows that constantly one-up themselves all the time, even by the end of its 7 seasons. Just amazing what they did

  23. The only show where, after watching certain episodes, I'd immediately re-watch on the DVDs to hear the director's commentary. I even loved how this series ended.

  24. Scrolled to far for this! It's my favorite show. My favorite episodes are all the Valentines Day ones. I like watching them back to back.

  25. I loved all 4 seasons of game of thrones. I only wish they would have continued it. But hey, at least we got 4 good seasons and didn’t have to put up with a rushed ending that made no sense right?

  26. Yeah like I could imagine an alternate universe with 7 or even 8 seasons but they’d have to be well written. Luckily they stopped at 4.

  27. I remember making this joke about Dexter, not thinking another show could end so disappointingly...

  28. My answer as well. I have done countless rewatches and I still laugh just as hard. Also big plus that they’re still running so we get to see new episodes (hopefully soon!)

  29. I cannot find anything as beautiful as Hannibal. The entire show was art. I really wished they would have renewed for a 4th season. :(

  30. The last season of Castle lost me when Beckett took off for some ridiculous reason and wouldn’t tell him why. Up to then I loved it though.

  31. Chuck. Not a single episode fell flat - never watched a show with the same mix of action, humor, heart, and heartache. Fantastic cast and even the minor characters were hilarious and lovable. Never laughed or cried quite so hard. Ted Lasso is the only thing that’s ever come close for me.

  32. Still waiting for the ending. I know I’m probably gonna be waiting forever on this one, but I really want them to finish the story eventually.

  33. You have to admit season 3 got a bit wonky. Gaius becomes a cult leader, they just didn't have enough for some of the regulars to do and were just treading water towards season 4.

  34. “They were a bit obsessed with the old… S-E-X. God, I’m glad I never think of that type of thing Father. That whole sexual world. God, when you think of it it’s a dirty, filthy thing, isn’t it Father? Can you imagine Father? Can you imagine Father, looking up at your husband, and him standing over you with his lad in his hand, wanting you to degrade yourself? God almighty can you imagine that Father? Can you picture it there Father? Oh, get a good mental picture of it. Can you see him there? Ready to do the business? Now who would like a cup of tea? It has cocaine in it"

  35. I will never understand how there is a significant portion of the fan base that considers this the worst of the Star Trek series. I could understand it not being #1 for some, but personally it's mine by a country mile.

  36. Wish this upcoming season wasn't going to be the last. They film a lot of the show very close to me and I see the actors at places from time to time

  37. Thank god, I had to scroll down WAY too far to find someone mention this show. Hands down one of the best shows ever made.
