I look for chips and cracks, and I always choose one that is currently climbing something Reply I’ve had good luck with nerites and mystery snails when I’ve gotten the ones that were a) active (crawling around or at least hanging out on the walls) and/or b) small - I assume younger ones will acclimate more easily. Reply Guy at my local fish store told me to always buy the ones that are moving Reply If they stick to glass that's a good sign Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
