wormywils

  1. I actually pictured Silco when reading.

  2. I remember thinking that it was a bit.

  3. After seeing Dune (1&2) and Blade Runner 2049, I think Denis Villeneuve would be the best choice to Direct.

  4. This made me laugh out loud in the office.

  5. This scene gave me Galadriel vibes from The Lord of the Rings.

  6. Wormywils probably meant narratively, I felt the same when reading the first time. He had been Marks most prevalent enemy throughout the first half of the comic and to be so unceremoniously offed by Robot, who moved to take the role of Marks earth based multi-arc antagonist, was shocking in the moment and great setup in the long term.

  7. Can confirm. I meant narratively surprising.

  8. I was shocked how quickly Angstrom Levy got dispatched.

  9. This might just be crazy enough to work.

  10. I have watched and rewatched this show so many times and I have never noticed this. Wow.

  11. I think the difference is Norman and Peter could have a shared sense of grief - which is what it seemed like the leaked original ending was going for but is still something that could happen. I get what you're saying though Otto was actually like a dad to Peter so we already had that - Dad, brother and idk what Norman would be lol. Bad step dad

  12. For this category, yes, it's the hardest film to understand so far. Even the director Hayao Miyazaki admit that he doesn't (completely) understand it. It's so hard to the point that the producer Toshio Suzuki was forced to give so many hints, like heron = himself, the boy = Miyazaki, granduncle = Isao Takahata, and the ending is based on the old testament. That's why it's the best Oscar's statement that animation isn't exclusively for kids. Not in term of blood and violence and sexual content, but in term of the level of life's experience the film require from the audience to understand it.

  13. How is the ending based off the Old Testament?

  14. Anyone else think Tyreese was a massive hypocrite for this arc?

  15. Sam and Mike survive, but Mike gets arrested for shooting Em.

  16. When Bilbo let’s go of the ring in the Shire.

  17. Finished the book for the first time last year and Gus is now my favorite literary protagonist.

  18. I loved Messiah even more then Dune! So glad there aiming to make that the end of a trilogy.

  19. I often have my Tav get a haircut when they make it to act 3.

  20. I think we will see this ending. But it won't be a straight adaption.

  21. That was Blaine the Mono at the end of the trailer! So we know the games goes as far as The Westland.

  22. Red Rising adapted by WIT studios. It would be one of the greatest anime ever produced.
