  1. Visible+ definitely has issues with 5G. May be it's a Verizon thing. But for me, after switching to v+ from basic visible plan, things got worse. I even made a post about it. But in this sub, any bad experiences customers have, gets down voted. Visible fan boi's or paid marketing from them. 

  2. I have somewhat similar problem, except, I was getting 5G on basic Visible, converted to V+ with physical sim. After switch, my phone, Pixel 4a5G constantly keeps switching between, LTE and 5G. I got worse speeds on V+ than their lower priced plan. Go figure.

  3. Resetting or reprovisioning voicemail fixed my dad's network issues when upgrading to V+ from basic Visible for his iPhone. You can do self-service through chat.

  4. Yes, I did the whole cycle of re provisioning, resetting, phone restarts, airplane mode toggle. All multiple times. Nothing worked.

  5. Oh, this sounds familiar. I tried basic visible trial first. Found it to be acceptable and ordered V+ thinking, if anything it will be even better.

  6. That is why I tell people that V+ and VZW 5G is POS. In my area the speed is the same. Now here is that I find interesting and you can only find this if you read carefully : the V regular doesn't have cap on the hostpot data while V+ cap at 50GB. And the V+ hotpsot actually goes SLOWER than V regular once you hit 50 GB.

  8. That's good thought, but, I already tried forcing LTE on. Data speeds were very poor.

  9. Are you saying you have/had a Visible e-SIM on that phone?

  10. Yeah, I have tried visible trial through esim, and only then ordered visible+ service via physical sim. Hence I'm frustrated and baffled by poor service on V+.

  11. If provisioning doesn't work I'd reach out to a higher tier agent on Twitter/X to see what they can do as provisioning through CS doesn't always work.

  12. Yeah, I asked the support here on Reddit to put me in touch with higher tier technical support. But they just keep asking me repeated stuff and it isn't going anywhere.

  13. Reddit support is somewhat mediocre. You'll have to hear over to Twitter/X, it's worth creating an account for if you don't have one as it's the only way to get in touch with people that have the means to fix anything on the backend.

  14. Yeah, I know about US mobile, but saw that visible+ is a better deal overall. Now I know, apparently not for me!

  15. I am having the same issue. Just switched from Google Fi. S22+. Also having an issue with no data on 5G, but working data on 4G LTE and 5G UW. It bounces between all 3 with 3 to 4 bars. I also notice it seems to stay on LTE until some data is requested then it will switch over to 5G or 5G UW.

  19. I had same issue since last two days. Tried every workaround mentioned in previous posts and online. Only thing that worked for my GW 5, was to connect watch to charger and phone to charger with WiFi on, Bluetooth on. Select update on watch.

  20. I still use mine as a secondary line sometimes. Just replaced battery from official Oneplus store too. It's kicking fine, mine still looks mint and runs awesome with rooted kernel, OOS 11.

  21. How did you get the battery replaced from the official OnePlus store? I tried to do the same and my phone was returned without a repair saying OnePlus doesn't keep spare parts anymore.

  22. Oh, yes. USA service for OnePlus is trash. I had a colleague do it for me from India. They replaced it in less than 15 minutes. Official store. Charges were probably around 20 -25 USD.

  23. You haven't mentioned your watch size and usage. These are the deciding factors.

  24. I had pixel 7 with same issue. Just returned it yesterday. And I did a lot of research too. You are not alone.

  25. Pixel 7 here. Connectivity issues are real! If you are in a fringe area where, overlap of 4g and 5g or signal isn't strong, the phone really struggles to connect to ANY mobile data. Have seen calls dropped at least 2 times.

  26. I have horrible issues with my Pixel 7 with network connectivity. Granted I am at the border of the 5G and LTE, but still the device HAS to connect to data, regardless. AT&T network.

  27. I already have the $300 16GB AT&T yearly plan but I'm several months out from renewal. Anyone know if I can apply funds this early? Thanks in advance.

  28. Yes, you can apply it now. When your renewal date is reached, it will pull from this balance. But do check with support on that.

  29. Much appreciate the reply. My wife and I both have the $300 plan so I ordered two $300 cards. Our plans don’t renew until June of 2023. I’ll most likely sit on the emails/card for a bit until closer to renewal. You’re correct, looks like a 365 day expiration on those since they’re greater than $100. Pretty good deal at ~$75 off with a Red Card.

  31. Question: Did you tick the checkbox saying Accept the price upon evaluation or something of that sort? I ticked it and have heard bad things about it, Google went back on trade in values for these.

  33. Yeah i agree. The battery isnt that great. And my signal is definitely weaker than my previous Pixel 4. The reception issue may be the thing that causes me to return the phone.

  34. Same fort me. ATT signal isn't very good here. I am the border of LTE and 5G coverage. The phone forces to connect 5G and fails to transfer automatically to mobile data on leaving wifi. Airplane toggle few times a day makes it work.

  35. Thanks for sharing. So the first time you got new number even though you asked for number transfer? And second time the port went through fine? In this second case did you get the full 8 + 8 GB plan or it assigned you the 8gb only plan?

  37. I never put a SIM in the OP8. I bought a Pixel 5a, and then an OP8 a little over a month ago. I didn't really like the curved screen on the OP8, or the in display fingerprint sensor. I was having an issue with the eSIM in the 5a. So, I've just been procrastinating doing something until I was actually forced to.

  38. Okay, so if you never used sim in any of the whitelisted devices and still get VOLTE is encouraging.

I just looked back through some notes I took a couple of years ago and see where I tried using *#800# and *#*#4636#*#* to enabled VoLTE, but enabling the toggle switch for VoLTE here didn't have any effect, and the toggle switch would turn back off automatically. It's more of an indicator of whether or not VoLTE is provisioned for your device by the carrier. Looking at it now, I see that the VoLTE Provisioned toggle switch is on when I have the AT&T SIM selected.

  40. Yes, lucky for sure. I remember talking to customer support when my account was suspended twice. The rep did see that my VOLTE was working and noted on my account. Not sure what worked.

  41. Well, the new update broke my face unlock completely. I am rooted with TWRP & Magisk 23. Did the local upgrade, twrp retention method.

  43. Well, looks like they used the whitelisted imei of the new device on your account. Might not work after next years shutdown of 3g services. I have op6 with volte too. Not sure how long it will work.

  44. My oneplus 5 had volte on the stock rom. No wifi calling though. Same with my OnePlus 8.

  45. Ah, any chance you use op8 on your same number or account? This might be the reason why the account was whitelisted and you get volte on op5 as result.

  46. No I never had the volte icon before. No I didn't do anything different.

  47. Very good. Lets hope it stays that way. Also keep an eye after you restart the phone or in a few days. Usually people have reported it to be gone in a few days. If it stays then all good!

  48. When I was on RP gsma which was at&t, I had volte. You will have to talk to cs rep and ask them to enable it from their side.

  49. They finally got back and told me they enabled it. I rebooted the phone and it's now on!

  50. That is good to know. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully Red Pocket he's figured out it's Pixel issues and other pixels work on their network. I had to move out one line from due to those issues.
