Interesting, I had not heard of the camera harness setup until this. I got the L&P harness with the light switch variant for the Comma 3X and it doesn’t work as expected - I get errors every startup and if I use the switch to turn off Comma and use ACC/LKA, those do not work. They work fine once switching back to “dealer mode.” I’m thinking it’s something wrong with my unit or install.
Yeah sounds weird. Regardless of dealer mode switch position, if you hit the front switch it should cut power to comma and restore stock acc/lka. The camera harness is how all the now listed gm cars are supported, and it works for volts too. There’s a couple lka-only volts running Openpilot that way too.
Is the camera harness an additional harness for a Volt install, or is it a new/different harness that replaces the prior? (i.e. what Comma calls the OBD-II harness). My Forester install was very easy - a jumper at the eyesight camera connection. Is this similar to this "camera harness"
That doesn’t let you show it in a window though. It’s full screen only and blacks out other screens while you’re doing it. Like most built in Apple features, nearly useless.
Check this out, when I upload the RAW to files and look at info, it shows the size as 1920 x 1080!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤔. But that’s the full sized raw, which is 6336 x 9504.
It seems like an iOS problem more than a shortcuts problem. I do high res image stuff in shortcuts so it’s not the resolution that’s the issue but the file format I think.

19 is hypothetically supported. There are several LKA-only volts (‘17 and ‘18) working with the new gm camera harness. There is also a ‘16 Volt without LKA or ACC with flashed EPS firmware that’s running Openpilot. None of these things had happened back when it was decided that ‘19 can’t be supported. The masterminds behind the LKA-only Volt setup think it should apply to ‘19 volt but they need a tester.
You mean the function that's disabled by default? That says a lot about what Apple thinks of their users if they think right click is too much for them to handle.

Yes exactly. Replaces the obd2 and L&P harnesses. 5 minute install instead of a couple hours.

My iPhone 13 mini fits, with a case, and the center console closes. Problem is Chevy didn’t predict how everything would turn into a phablet.

I have a 19 with ACC. I wrote off open pilot since everyone told me it was impossible. Where do you see it can be done?

There’s a historical reason for that. I don’t think it makes much sense anymore, but it’s because of the many years there was no right mouse button.
