  1. True, HSA doesn’t really apply to me. I keep on forgetting that one.

  2. Seems like it’s usually a 50/50, good resource to max if you’ve got it, but most people don’t or their company doesn’t offer one.

  3. Any insight on how you got ahead or advice for mid 20s investors?

  4. Not a-holes, for paying the most $ out of any other airline it’s a justified complaint. Hopefully OP understands that airplanes break (especially parts customers touch) and sometimes there are constraints such as parts availability or ground time to fix.

  5. Was this a 757? I swear I had the same plane to Philly last week.

  6. Drive for show, putt (chip) for dough

  7. Inside info on training being skipped?

  8. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I Must have gotten real lucky during the beginning then!

  9. Less users in the beginning possibly? Now that it’s becoming free maybe more usage per flight.

  10. Has anyone been on the Lion Air acquired 737s? Curious what they retrofitted or changed up with the interiors.

  11. Different D1 seats. Only 1 row of C+.

  12. We support Willie, not Mitchell. 🐻

  13. For a team that had Willie O’Ree as a player, you’d think management would use their brain.

  14. Sick build. I’ve been looking at a jeep for years but haven’t pulled the trigger on any and have never owned one in the past. Quick question: isn’t the allure of a jeep to pull the roof off? Would this be possible with your forward roof rack setup? Or is that just not a feature your current setup that matters to you? Either way awesome truck and I’m jealous

  15. If you don’t want to hear the hard reality then go elsewhere You will have a hard time in aviation if you can’t accept it lol

  16. Just because you didn’t use your degree doesn’t mean OP won’t. While I don’t disagree that you need a good amount of experience (mostly with how not to be a good manager by having shit managers) before becoming a manager, the degree would 100% help in getting an interview with less experience than others. I’ve worked for both high experience guys who were shit managers, and low experience guys who were hungry to teach the new next generation. Do what you want OP, but from the sound of this guy he wasn’t cut out for management anyway. Just being blunt honest.

  17. I agree a degree will help get an interview But it won’t make a person good or bad with management

  18. I could not agree more with you. Degree has nothing to do with leadership qualities.

  19. ESPN did a great job with the E60: Unrivaled which went through this whole feud. Had no idea about the stories and entertainment this era presented.

  20. Happy Birthday! I’ll take an invite to the party next year

  21. I get why the MD-88s and MD-90s were retired, but those who were trained to pilot those aircraft were just laid off? Or were they trained to fly something different? If those pilots were laid off permanently, that was a short-sighted solution, because man those a/c still could be super useful.

  22. Yep retrained! As for the aircraft I think there were multiple reasons. But honestly I feel the main one was fuel efficiency and aging aircraft cost more to maintain. The new A321NEO advertise 20% more efficient than the A321CEO. Bean counters usually have the last say, not sure if it’s a bad or good thing…

  23. This is why I bring my own Lysol/Clorox wipes. Everything gets wiped down before I take a seat. Windows, walls, tray tables, the seat, Seat belt, seat back infotainment (if available) switches for air control/ calling the flight attendant.

  24. This is the best practice one can have when flying. Many would stop flying if they knew how dirty aircraft actually are…even after “cleaning”

  25. Ever eaten a hot pocket right out of the microwave?

  26. I reported it to the FA. She said it would be fixed when the jet got back to LA, meaning someone else was unlucky on their trip back to the mainland. It could have been worse. This was row 18. Seat 19B had their monitor fall off completely.

  27. If it was reported to maintenance they most likely would of had to secure it due to it possibly interfering with an exit row. Gotta remember that things break though just like in your car, maintenance can’t fix it if it breaks mid flight.

  28. AMT at delta started at 6month scale. Ive never seen anyone started at the 1st month scale

  29. Before COVID it happened almost regularly.
