Most of the holders of options are systematic traders. They don’t have a human making decisions, they are doing volatility and other statistical arbitrage (some involving delta hedging). And they probably have gotten in and out of that position many times. Keep in mind the 13Fs are just snapshots in time and mean a lot less when it’s automated trading firms like Jane Street, IMC, Citadel, SIG, etc.
