  1. The older I get, the less true this is. Might not be as universal as you think.

  2. I mean... the older a person gets, the less hormones they have, and test is the biggest reason for arousal, so your statement is just objectively false and this applies to all males

  3. Oh, you're trolling. Sorry, thought you were being serious at first.

  4. Yeah, not for everyone and it really sucks to find out the hard way. Sorry that happened to you.

  5. Does it though? On release more people will will play it in limited, but if it had been some insanely busted card that saw play as far back as legacy, it could have been a mainstay for years as opposed to months, allowing more people to come across it.

  6. You're right for the minority of people who play or follow competitive MtG. But the vast majority play budget, tabletop Magic where good uncommons live basically forever.

  7. I’d assume more often that not, it’s cheaper to cast plus being at rare makes this way more cost affordable

  8. Right, but the term "strictly better" means better in absolutely all circumstances.

  9. No, you’re correct. I was over ambitious with my snap reaction. Hence why I made the edit notation.

  10. Yeah. It explicitly said that the goal was to explain the bill, not endorse or condone it.

  11. ... yes, that's the point i was making except with more words.

  12. You said it came off incredibly biased, I explained why it wasn't. That's the opposite of what you said.

  13. You are a genuine freak who can't even be bothered to honestly discuss the subject. You pulled 2 hours out of the air because you are trying to make your dumb perspective seem correct - could have just as easily gone with 10 hours. And I am mocking """hotel upgrades""" because """hotel upgrades""" isn't even a fucking thing for a huge percentage of holidays.

  14. If I had the money to try flying first class once, I'd do it to say I had. But that would just be part of the experience of the trip.

  15. Did it once, it was a ~50% better experience. Unfortunately, they're usually a LOT more expensive than that so I'll need to be a few tax brackets higher before thinking about it.

  16. Yes, but who on earth would take a 30yr rate at that interest? It makes no sense at all.

  17. Not the person you asked, but I do have an economics degree AND work for a fund that trades some crypto.

  18. Oh, and +1 for Shuffle & Cut. Ended up there because gf's family lives nearby and it was absolutely excellent.

  19. I appreciate this thoughtful reply, but it doesn't help the feeling of saturation. I'm playing way less than ever, but as a person that was hitting nearly every Midwest GP/Scg tourney for a while about 5 years ago, I can't imagine anyone but dedicated grinders being able to keep up with this pace. It doesn't even feel like we have enough time for card evaluation before the next set is spoiling.

  20. It became easy for me once I decided I was just gonna play Pioneer. Outside of reprints, I'm not paying much attention to anything else. I'm not even gonna look at a single card for the new commander set.

  21. Metcons or nanos are probably the best all round shoe if I had to pick one.

  22. Alternatively, you could buy those Costco hiking shoes that Wesley Clayborn does everything in.

  23. I never know what to make of Logan Paul. Some days, he's a genius entrepreneur who's rewriting the rules of YouTube and entertainment, other days, he's Satan. I've never watched a single video of his, any of his interviews, nor any of those so called boxing matches, but I hear his name all the time and something in me just wants to know what the hell makes him so famous.

  24. It is less than that now if you goto a community college.

  25. Is it? My last semester in community college was $44/unit for in-state, and that was years ago, plus reg fees and all that.

  26. I think you are right, I went and looked up my local and it looks like about $750 for a 12-hour semester now; the cheaper ones appear to be more rural.

  27. Counterpoint: Every jther store around me has eggs for $5+/dozen, Costco has them for ~$3.00.

  28. I guess in that case, in the same vein with a slightly different outcome is a loaded gun.

  29. At first I was like "Yeah, this is what Ron Swanson would be like in a zombie apocalypse."

  30. Oh, absolutely watch White Lotus then. He's fantastic in season 1.

  31. Ho-ly FUCK. I am sold. Up until now I was largely watching the show out of my love for the original game, and while the first two episodes were both excellent recreations of what we saw in the game (episode 2 in particular), I can't honestly say I found them all that groundbreaking as episodes of television. Either the preexisting context of the game was too distracting, or it's because we've seen many zombie apocalypse stories like this on TV before, but the feeling I got was that while the show felt incredibly competent, it didn't quite feel fresh. Not yet. THIS, though. Just... WOW. This is how you take advantage of a change in medium to do things with the story and world that you couldn't before. I always found the flashback scenes so far to be the most interesting and novel parts of the show, and now the show not only recognized that strength but crafted an entire episode around it. And boy, did it deliver.

  32. And you can count on the scammer the pay it back.

  33. If they don't, you just have an apartment. So assuming you pick a scammer with an apartment anywhere near that valuation, you're great.

  34. 400k$ apartment wouldn't be even luxurious in Istanbul. Currently there is real estate balloon in here.

  35. It doesn't have to be, it just has to be worth the amount you gave them minus whatever you'd be willing to pay for citizenship.

  36. imo it's the fact that nobody still knows what "american culture" is. Certainly you can point out some characteristic things that have been developed since the birth of the country, but ultimately, it's a mix of cultures.

  37. My experience has been a split between the OP and what you've said.

  38. Thanks. Our kids are in high school; when the second one graduates, I'm out even if it means we sell the house and I move into a shoebox.

  39. That's not a bad timespan. Be sure that you're actively planning and preparing during that time, I've seen a lot of people get cold feet after a year or two of waiting to pull the trigger.

  40. We also had the problem with me wanting much more sex than my wife. I have now found out that regular day stress with a job and two kids, lowers my wifes sexual appetite by about 80-90 percent. She was sick for several months (Concussion), and in that periode she wanted sex almost daily. Now, its more to the note of 0-2 times a week. Since then I have discovered a clear relation between her work load in general, and sex desire. She just doesn't see it herself, despite that I have pointed it out for her, but it is quite clear.

  41. Interesting, at least you have the blueprint there.

  42. Thanks for the detailed reply the thing is I do regularly decompress by ending every training session with a dead hang. It feels more like the spasm is in the low back muscles surrounding the spine and not the spine itself. So I’m not sure if it’s even compressed

  43. Yeah, sounds less like compression then. Wish I couldn't be more helpful!

  44. As crappy as it is, dudes with any experience knows its best to be the Chad with zero commitment. The lady will trade your sorry ass in at the opportunity for a newer Chad that can offer more money, better stability, more social status.
