  1. Couldn’t agree more. I think most of the negativity is people being mad that Naruto and Sasuke aren’t the main characters anymore.

  2. No, it's because it turned into Dragonball rather than having any actual creativity for NINJA fighting. And yeah, that happened in Shippuden as well, towards the end mostly, which is the reason for people to complain about Naruto and Sasuke's strength levels.

  3. The only negative of this I can see is that my tm8 won't believe that I can make a play with low boost, so he goes, while I definitely know I could make the play happen lol

  4. In a good-faith debate, you can discuss the reasons for believing what you believe, and then you can see if you can come to a common ground based on these reasons that have come to light.

  5. NA sticking after the split that non GenG/G2 teams had is absolutely wild - would be very surprised to see meaningful inprovment from NA3/4 next major

  6. I think SSG could really surprise people. That is, if they avoid GenG in the regionals lol

  7. i think ssg would have the same outside potential that col has of making a top 8 if swiss plays into their favour

  8. Yeah that's actually a pretty good comparison to make I think, they probably lose to most top teams but on their day they could take maybe a cold Vit, maybe a cold Furia or smth like that

  9. I would like to think they would be amicable and let him go for a lower price (someone mentioned Moist fell through), but the fact they kept him as a sub leads me to think they weren't convinced the new roster would be good enough.

  10. Yeah Dralii was a bit of a bet to make, who knew if he was going to be consistent enough both on the pitch and in work ethic etc before this season?

  11. I’m 30 now and over the last 10 years, guys have said way more to me than girls.

  12. It doesn’t matter what fanbase. For some reason, there’s at least a handful of Stans who can’t accept that the story isn’t perfect or even that the characters in the story are sometimes designed imperfect on purpose.

  13. Star Wars sequels are a perfect example of what you're saying here. So many people defending The Last Jedi and so on, simply because.. it's there, they watched it, and they were mildly entertained by it, so now they're annoyed that people criticize it for its shortcomings like, ofc people who love the universe are going to be critical of new stuff that either destroys old rules or actively tries to shit on characters or introduces somewhat nonsensical elements like gods or floating in space by yourself to just 'pull' yourself in with the force somehow

  14. Not to mention we dominated the eu agenda since brexit. Every major deal was rutte. How often are the danes at the g20 etc? Joke of a list.

  15. Maybe it's because of arctic matters, since we have Greenland? Idk otherwise. Maybe we've just become more influential ever since US senators like Bernie Sanders began talking about our welfare state, and Fox said there was something rotten in the state of Denmark. We do have some very large and influential companies driving exports etc, like Novo Nordisk, Maersk and Lego of course.

  18. For I think the first time in RLCS history, I don't think any of the top 8 teams need, or will make, roster moves.

  19. One thing that may also show why it might be advantageous to actually stick: M8s were the 'leftovers' from the other teams, and they still had it despite getting dropped /leaving from their initial rosters. For the first time since the open era, there may be a slight plateau in the skills needed to win, and sticking to a game plan / perfecting on the pitch play with increased pressure in intense moments seems more important rather than trying to outmechanic other highly mechanical teams already.

  20. Daz's casting has gotten really good, I might even say he's my favorite at this point

  21. I agree he is getting good, but (and I know I will get downvoted for this) he sounded just a tad biased towards G2 in the finals. Would've loved equal focus in M8s and what they were doing really well, but the focus was mostly on how G2 could break out.

  22. With this amount of G7's in the playoffs, the result could be completely different and reward consistency more if we had a double elim playoff instead, so we also get more match ups and luck with initial playoff seeding matters less. For example, GenG played really well against M8's and could possibly have made a lower bracket run

  23. Incredible production, and although I do greatly miss some of the OG casters, the new ones stepped up big time.

  24. Also format: double elim should really make a comeback imo. Falcons and GenG could have gone on lower bracket runs for example

  25. If you go for a multi goals lead you might end up losing your lead. Clearly a choice they make. With Itachi they have an attack slider because he can play some of the aggressive ball in RL history and can create goals consistently.

  26. This also works to stop other teams from gaining even the momentum of getting the ball up the field. In the games G2 lost, they were constantly not only challenged but actually interrupted efficiently from setting much of anything up from their own half. That is remarkable boost management and game sense from M8's imo

  27. This maybe shows that EU was a bit too ready to make new rosters just because they didn't win? Like, if the 'leftovers' can perform this well, while a Vitality can bounce back too, maybe the rosters from worlds were a bit too quick to make roster changes?

  28. he most likely didnt mean for it to come off the way it did but:

  29. Tbh I don't think that's such a big thing. He didnt say Joyo was bad, he just said Atow did smth very clutch, which he did, and Joyo hasn't been THAT clutch (lately), which he hasnt

  30. I disagree with the idea they beat M8s or G2. Falcons flail without boost. I dont think theyre used to teams being able to starve them

  31. KC is as good at starving as at least G2, MAYBE as good as M8s, it's debatable, but Falcons mechs in both offense and defense clear M8s imo, which makes it a close call. I think Falcons would take it.

  32. I love when insane plays are happening and Dad just starts yelling 😂😂 it's that or he's silent and you can tell he's just the biggest fan of the game during those moments.

  33. Seems like defense is what's most needed on LAN, when in front of a crowd and nervous. Who'dve thought

  34. Possibly, but I'm looking more for "what are they doing that other scenes aren't"

  35. Boost management with touches. If a good fifty can get you the same worth of a goal or a beat, it's less boost intensive than a high soloplay. In the same vein, challenging early and keeping pressure gets other teams panicking and making mistakes. This is only possible with good boost management with touches ofc. But that's basically what EU prioritizes - efficiency rather than solomoves that cost you 100 boost. So if you don't use 100 boost every time, you don't have to rotate all the way out to the big boosts.

  36. M8 and BDS especially tried to pass and outpace their opponents with exactly this strategy, while GenG had some lovely reset mechs on display instead. G2 is playing more of a Vitality-2023-like style, where they absorb pressure and counter. Here, BDS was just too slow and too bad at finishing in general, but in the first two games, you saw it working veryyy well. MM is the epitome of the style, he doesn't prioritize flashiness but has boostmanagement and precise touches MADE for speed rather than complex multisequential movements. Especially in MM's goalscoring, you can also see him doublejumping rather than saving his flip, so he arrives quickly at the ball, but his finishing suffers a slow shot, which we also just saw couldn't penetrate G2's defense. All in all, BDS needed either Dralii to showcase more complex moves that would bamboozle G2, or they needed bumps to open up the space.

  37. Honestly GenG should have won. I predicted M8 and I am from Denmark lol, but I just think GenG played more inspired Rocket League with much more flair on the ball. M8's game was mostly about suffocation, boost steal and outrotation, while GenG's was about outplaying with incredible mechs that were more fun to watch imo

  38. Copied from yesterday's post match thread - granted these are nooot hot takes, they're just my honest predictions:

  39. Falcons look extremely well coordinated, making the best decisions at almost every turn, wow

  40. KC look uncoordinated and sloppy. Prob an off game, but they need to wake up quick

  41. Lemonkiwi is still not able to read the play like you would expect someone who gets to cast a major
