  1. I can't explain why but Canet-Plage, in France, made me feel eerie vibes.

  2. It's the part of Canet-en-Rousillon that faces the coast, in the south of France.

  3. She has such beautiful eyes of varying colour, and a LOUD, expressive voice!

  4. So you’ve never had days when you’re upset about something and wanted to vent to someone close to you? I’m sure you have, since it’s not healthy to keep your emotions bottled up.

  5. I didn't. I said it is healthy to vent and not keep your emotions bottled in. So your sisters are more healthy than you if they vent often.

  6. Oh wow, a mystery I have a personal connection to.

  7. This Smithsonian article is very thorough, and what first got me interested:

  8. Yesterday, I (35f) sent my husband (38m) out to the grocery store to pick up some bread

  9. How does that sound condescending? She just asked him to pick up some bread

  10. I am glad you liked it, I will never forget the first time I saw it.

  11. Maybe if you were rrrrrrreeeeeaaaaaaalllllyy slumming. Or on DMT or something lol. Na. Still bad I’m sure.

  12. Dutch person here, I actually have been thinking about this for a while now and I think I got a good idea of what the Ghosts would've been like.

  13. It's heart wrenching that they would allow people to walk freely in the house. Some preservation would have been a more of a way to go, keeping it clean and still have that eerie and haunting feel to it.

  14. Sorry. The Villisca axe murder house. Must have posted my reply in the wrong thread

  15. It’s fine :) I knew you were probably replying to one of them lol. I agree it’s so frustrating when people walk all over crime scenes, even though they didn’t know at the time!

  16. The real face of Queen Anne Boleyn. As of now there are no verified contemporary portraits of her in existence anywhere on earth. Ostensibly they were all destroyed on order of her husband Henry VIII when she was executed, however it's unlikely there were none stored away by her many relatives and supporters. A few contemporary paintings have shown up over the years and claims have been made that she was the sitter, but so far none can be verified through any modern method. So no one alive today has any idea what she actually looked like.

  17. This one makes me so sad. I would love know to what Anne Boleyn looked like. Henry was (and still is) the worst.

  18. I’ve been on this sub since 2015. I miss when there were many more of these types of posts here!

  19. See… beauty fades eventually, especially if your partner wears a ton of make up. And having a child doesnt help either

  20. Am i the only one seeing this? The pic implies that after 2 years the female looked very different from earlier right? Unless the female in the second pic is a different person than the first one, than i stand by my word, her beauty fades away

  21. She literally looks the same just tired and with short hair lol. Probably just a you problem.

  22. This is so beautiful! Are you planning on doing the other five wives?

  23. Yep, I've already done Katherine Parr and Anne Boleyn (two times), you can check them out here:

  24. This thread is sexist and terrible and you ask should be ashamed of yourselves.

  25. YES! I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. And on one side I want to do something or say something, but arguments on the internet never amount to anything other than me just feeling drained and sad. I have been noticing it a lot on Reddit lately and I don’t know if the misogyny has gotten worse or my tolerance is getting lower.

  26. What I hate is that you always have to say “Not all men” in case they get offended, but they pretty much always generalize women.

  27. Best not go around saying that in Liverpool.
