It's heart wrenching that they would allow people to walk freely in the house. Some preservation would have been a more of a way to go, keeping it clean and still have that eerie and haunting feel to it.

The real face of Queen Anne Boleyn. As of now there are no verified contemporary portraits of her in existence anywhere on earth. Ostensibly they were all destroyed on order of her husband Henry VIII when she was executed, however it's unlikely there were none stored away by her many relatives and supporters. A few contemporary paintings have shown up over the years and claims have been made that she was the sitter, but so far none can be verified through any modern method. So no one alive today has any idea what she actually looked like.
This one makes me so sad. I would love know to what Anne Boleyn looked like. Henry was (and still is) the worst.

YES! I’ve been thinking about it a lot lately. And on one side I want to do something or say something, but arguments on the internet never amount to anything other than me just feeling drained and sad.
