ExOne and ETEC are leaders of their industries. I think $DM could stop spend on everything else and go profitable today. That might be close to what they are doing.
I see acquisition as the worst case scenario either from $NNDM, $DDD, or $SSYS. The P50 has been a flop but ExOne and EnvisionTec seem to be leading technologies. I think $DM is detracting away from their value since it is not the P50.
Wouldn’t say it’s been a flop quite yet. $120mm in 2022 revenue was metals and $89mm was photopolymer. Any manufacturer shifting from casting to binder jet will require years of R&D — hence the 3 large consumer electronics companies reported to be testing using the P-1/P-50.
Is there actually proof that he owns that many shares ? I thought he had to buy these puts and then he was actually selling the shares that’s why stock was tanking ? And why doesn’t CEO buy million more shares at these prices as he did when it was 3 dollars stock ?
I feel news coverage of desktop metal has severely ceased lately. With an all time low of 61 cents being hit today, I fret that there is little to no improvement at all in this stock. Such a shame with all its promise 1 - 2 years ago
