  1. Blueberries used to be boobies hahah she’s sadly outgrown that one but I’m hoping her little brother will use it 😂

  2. That’s so ridiculous! There’s nothing wrong with running your washing machine at 8pm.

  3. In my area I have to pay more for electricity between 4-9pm. Super obnoxiousz

  4. But that's because that's when usage spikes, because everyone else is doing laundry then (and watching TV, cooking, and just generally having lights on).

  5. The book idea is really cute. A good amount of our friends have little kids so a book would totally work or an old toy their kid liked and would want to give to their new friend.

  6. That’s a good idea! You should still do the registry for yourselves so you can get the completion discounts

  7. Yeah, for an album dedicated to Love, it's full of pain and anxiety. Its saccharine sound got people thinking it's silly.

  8. I feel like that saccharine sound is the sound of anxiety

  9. Mine eats heaps of food, she never liked milk either. I honestly think that makes a huge difference. One of the “tricks” to losing weight/eating less is to drink a glass of water before your meal. I imagine it’s not different with milk, and with their tiny tummies, I imagine it makes a bigger difference. I brought up my concern about them not drinking milk to my pediatrician and she said as long as they’re getting calcium from other sources, it’s nbd. She’d worry about their fat intake if they’re underweight but thankfully no worries there either.

  10. Your best friend should know what she’s getting herself into. It’s not about you being there or not, it’s about him making his mom happy over his future wife. She needs all the information to make an informed decision when he pops the question.

  11. I got the sensation that this mother is letting you know because she assumes he’s gay (because he doesn’t live up to a stereotype) and wants to out this boy just because she’s homophobic.

  12. Ahhh that would make me feel so awkward!! It’s like here’s a snippet of my body since my whole body wouldn’t fit on screen unless I backed up and turned off my background which would be another layer of awkward because my office is a messssss. I think I would’ve awkwardly chuckled and hoped she backed off on her own lolol or offered to send a pic after the call 🤣🙈 or said I’m too tired to stand up right now idkkk at least those are things I’d wished I’d said after the fact because I’m not in it and I’d probably awkwardly stand up too and try to cover my boobs somehow omg I don’t know this just feels like nightmare juice like standing naked on stage in front of a sold out theater. Sorry that happened to you 🙈

  13. Does your wife have a history of disordered eating? Do you think she’s trying to manage your daughter’s weight to prevent her from getting fat and that’s why she doesn’t want you involved, because she doesn’t want you “fattening her up”?

  14. Omg I thought the pic with the piercings was the “glow down.” You’re beautiful either way.

  15. Balloon garlands from Amazon are around $20 and relatively easy to make - take app 2 hours! I do it the week before so she can enjoy them for a bit before

  16. Where are you getting your balloons? I did my daughters the night before and half the balloons deflated before the party! I overinflated them the next time and that was somewhat better

  17. Haha not surprised a catholic school wouldn’t have this book in the curriculum.

  18. I went to catholic school and had to read in AP lit (so 12th grade for me)

  19. Because I’ve been on clinicals for less than a year and I’ve seen 3 cases of serotonin syndrome, all from NPs

  20. Crazy. When I was training (pharmacist) I was told it’s super rare and we (pharmacists) are too hyper focused and nervous about it…now here we are

  21. Not sure why I’m in this sub, I grew up and currently live in a concrete jungle, but I’ve heard stories of my grandma raising hens in her backyard in the motherland. When that rooster was mean to one of my cousins, he became dinner.

  22. I have a single witch hair that regenerates every so often under my chin. I have to check vigilantly because there will be nothing nothing nothing and then all of a sudden, there's an inch-long cable wire sticking out of my face.

  23. I’m also so glad to see we’re not alone here 😂 I thought I might have an Endo problem (from my one long black chin hair 😅)

  24. Never returning late. She doesn't like that the lunch is so late, her reason that if she needed me at 330, well I'm not here. I leave 315-415 and put them in an after school program for 90 minutes while I'm back at my desk with work I set aside that I can do during that time. No performance issues. You're right though, the boundaries of work and home are so blurred with her... It might be that I don't overshare and I feel as if I'm being mothered.

  25. Doesn’t matter. What if she needs you 12-1? She can wait an hour. She knows when your breaks are, she can plan around your schedule.

  26. Yeah my first response is go scorched earth on those kids. I’m glad the school is reacting in a positive helpful manner and not trying to cover it up.

  27. Push the school to do whatever is possible in their context - e.g., bring in the school resource officer, have them give lessons on bullying and appropriate use of technology, suspensions/expulsions for the ringleaders. Don’t let it go until the situation is addressed to their satisfaction. Go to school admin, school board, local politicians, and/or media if enough isn’t happening.

  28. Those are all excellent recommendations. My kids are not that age yet and I hope I’m never in this situation but I agree with all of those and I don’t know that I would necessarily think of those myself

  29. A lot of people are saying meals and I totally agree! Also snacks, wash and chop up veggies and fruits so she can just grab and go. Eg chopped up bell peppers, cucumbers and a tub of hummus. That’s a winning snack right there! Stuff like that. Complete meals/complete snacks. Healthy stuff to support recovery and nursing if she’s planning.

  30. I have an area rug in my office. The glass is so my chair doesn’t dig into the rug and not roll. Think of those old yellow plastic mats: same principle but being glass you don’t see it If you look close you can see it here.

  31. Oh wow, I’m actually have a hard time seeing it! Very interesting. You’re not worried about the glass shattering all over the place?

  32. Likewise. I have some really nice slippers with a sole. They help tremendously standing on my tempered glass mat under my desk

  33. Girlll, we’re the same age, and I was like yep, yep, yep, yep, colors aren’t my style. I basically wear all of those except for 5 on the reg 😬. I’m surprised by a lot of these comments. Maybe it’s our age 👵👵🤣
